I can't speak for Vaesen, but their other games are very successful. I have ALL of the Forbidden Lands material, and their Kickstarters usually do really really well.

There's tons of games out there that don't need to slap a "5e" logo onto their game because, believe it or not, 5e isn't a great fit for a lot of games besides D&D.
Doesn't affect me using Foundry so I'm fine with it. However, I didn't get the core books in time during the OGL disaster when they sold out, so I'm thinking these news ones might be a nice purchase for myself this Christmas :)
Very happy to read this article today. WotC should just sell the IP of Dark Sun to Athas.org and let them publish 5e products for it. If they want to tie that into DMSGuild fine. Athas.org are the only custodians of the Dark Sun lore that I trust after seeing what WotC did to Spelljammer and...
