    With 958 HP including the Mythic part, then about 95 wizards if the spell does the 10 average damage. Which is not a lot, but I guess they can get fried beyond the missile range, or the dragon can be a spellcaster with Shield.

    Teleportation Circle to get out of there if he has a minute to spare. Dimension Door and Fly if he's in a hurry, that's generally enough to escape most enemies. Assuming survival is the priority. If he wants to defend the lair, it'll depend more on the layout of the place.

    When I started playing I was really confused on how the subraces worked, if they added onto the base race or just replaced everything, probably because I mostly skimmed the PHB. Maybe they'll add the whole race description in supplementary materials to make things simpler.

    They're supposed to attack then run back, I guess, but since disengaging costs a ki point and a BA, it's not really worth it in my experience. They really need Flurry to do decent damage themselves. At least Open Hand can hit and take away the enemy's reaction to run away.
