    [Construct] 'Roller blades'

I thought of a horse once, I thought just getting a magical beast would be better at that point, but I think so long as the animated creature could see your finger you could point where you want to go, it would most likly charge if it could, or otherwise just run at the enemy you point to. For...

    [Construct] 'Roller blades'

That does seem like it will work a lot better, I will defiantly think about using it with a skateboard, though the flying carpet does seem a tad bit in-efficient.

    [Construct] 'Roller blades'

I think the vulnerability to the AoE attacks are the real issue, one fireball would stop your movement, and you now have wasted a lot of money or experience. If you could find a way to make them energy resistant, then it may be worth looking at how much they could carry.

    [Construct] 'Roller blades'

Good point, what if we counted each wheel as a str 4 (13lb light load) and divided it between 8 wheels on each foot so 208 lb light load distributed evenly. Lets work with the D&D human base weight 120 lb, it is feesable, depending on how your DM feels the distributed weight works. If...

    Soloing a Dragon

I think loosing flight would reduce the CR by 1 for a dragon, who benafits slightly from such things Try having one of its wings clipped, that way it could use its wings, but there is a good reason it cant fly

    Mechanical Arts

hmmm, using the power of light and the sun, well in a fantasy setting what you can build yourself is a tunnle that focuses this light into a cannon Sunlight or laser cannon, either way might be worth thinking on.

    To kill a dragon?

Also with tenser's disks you can cary 600lb of water using one which is 10 sq feet, so if you used 6, thats 60 cubic feet in 10 containers of water (If the containers balance, as the disk only holds 2 lb)

    To kill a dragon?

'Protect from energy' You have a ranger level 10 - he can use protect from energy spell before the encounter He can do this twice if his wisom is 14 (I assume it is?) This means he can protect two people from the dragons breath, see if you can convince him to cast it on people without...

    [Construct] 'Roller blades'

I think dragonfriend7738 is right about how the animate works, but the DM could interpret it how ever he wishes (I think he would be reasonable) I think if I get a level 14 character, making this would be a good way to get around.

    [Construct] 'Roller blades'

I looked it up, and it is something new to me. I think the Maug Graft seems to turn you into a semi-tank like being? The roller blades are a far different design, and maybe its because its my own, but I would much rather the temporary, and faster roller blades (Which would fit over magic...

    To kill a dragon?

Not a bad idea, but the Mystic Thurge is sorceror in origin so unlikely to have much unless he can get a wand? If you have it RUMBLETiGER is right, if not, their spell list would help?

    To kill a dragon?

OR D&D logic lava http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Transmute_Stone_to_Lava_(3.5e_Spell) Probably a more adventurer thing to go by Though the heat stuff is right, endure elements may provide you with some resistance to the heat, the air is something else - but this is a fantasy adventure, so if a...

Killing a Wizard is Easy... if you know how.

Personaly I think the best way to improve the fighter and the monk is to add DR to the fighter every other level on top of DR from any other souse and add DR at every level past 5th for the monk This results in fighters being good at low levels (like seems to be intended) and monks getting...

    [Construct] 'Roller blades'

'Roller blades' construct, sounds a pointless, or bizzare idea, and I may have misread the rules, but if not, they are sure a crazy way to get around. (I havnt found such a thing before, but I'm new at this still) 1) What do they do? A construct with wheels can move 80 feet, and who ever has...

    War Dogs

Magical enhancements that you could try quick things you can do is use magic buffs such as see invisibility (If you can persuade your dm to let you add it to someone else), giving them greater use to your party and give them enchanted Armour if they can use it. A good third is rarys telepathic...

D&D 3.x Why the change in DR from 3.0 to 3.5

Also their spell casting ability, if its a green dragon, mirror image and summon swarm both work to cause some more advantages. Obscuring mist works nicely to half its chances of being hit. Even then a green dragon is more likly to run, and plot each ones individual demise x) And if we take to...

    Fochlucan Sage...

Your defiantly not wrong, but this suppression does only last 1d4 round. If I was pulling this crap id enchant a few magic items with tongues and comprehend language, dispel magic targets the strongest and singular spells, and if the NPC didn't know that you needed it (Being a DM against this...
