    Wood Shape and Crafting?

*sigh* stingy DM syndrome...though we have advanced a bit fast.

    Wishes & Skills

probably the easiest way to get cross-class skills in 3.5, is to take a class which has that skill as aclass skill. Doing so makes that skill permanently a class skill. This may seem silly, but record keeping is now SOOOOOO much easier when skills come around. Though everyone now has an...

    Wood Shape and Crafting?

What effect does the spell Wood Shape have on Crafting wood items? ...as far as skill checks and such. The Context: A Druid in our party has Craft: Wood, and the Wood Shape spell. He would like to make a Masterwork Staff, but this is ludicrously difficult at level 3. Can Wood Shape be cast...

    item creation feat house rules?

IIRC, one main difference between Craft Wonderous Item and Forge Ring is that items made via the later (other than only being rings) are much tougher, ie have more hitpoints, higher hardness, better saves etc.

Games of Chance for my campaign

I posed this question not too long ago: http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=70116&goto=newpost

    Player problem...

hmmm sounds like a bit of a jerk, but: since he likes cards, is there anyway of integrating card games into your RPG? perhaps that would keep him involved enough to play consistently.

:) any mention of Bargle the Wizard being in there? Cookies to those who remember!

    Invisibilty and Sneak Attacks

It should also be mentioned that Invisibility otherwise counts as +40 to Hide in some circumstances; and is at +20 when running. Presumeably that would mean that fighting in close quarters while invisible would make the hide check at +20. So if there are any hostiles who get a lucky spot...

Sneak Attack - Exactly when does it Apply?

Any idea if Improved Precise Shot negates this restriction? Rapid Reload negates problem this for light crossbows...but it takes a feat. Ranged weapons are all suboptimal for Rogues because of the 30 foot limit for sneak attack. I know of no feat which might extend that...even though some core...

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for PC.

That is interesting. It does seem that you are relying on special weapons in this regard though. Generally, how does a normal blaster rifle fare in the hands of a scout vs an opponent wielding a normal vibrosword? My experience is that the vibrosword is always the better. I will try again.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for PC.

Jo0 are the Dark Lord of Lith! :D seriously, I have been playing quite a bit since I got it on Saturday. Some Non-Spoiler Advice: All the classes are viable, but the Scout class is probably the hardest to play despite significant advantages. ...IMO While helpful, the ranged weapons suck too...

    In Game Games

How many of you use games within your RPG? What Kind? Know any good related web links? [edit: I have been playing and enjoying Pazaak in KOTOR :D

    AIEEE!!! CN is not insanity!!!!

I was using the www.dictionary.com sense of the word 'good', in it's simplist and most direct form. though yes you are right. D&D goes a bit further. As I see it, Fran here would be CN: [C]too busy to be socialable, [N] while he is creating wealth [G], he is to focused on that task to...

    AIEEE!!! CN is not insanity!!!!

I am going to slightly disagree. Good is defined as that which is beneficial. If the sacrifice was not beneficial (or reasonably expected benefit), then it was not good, ie wasted effort. "Fran sacrifces his youth toiling away for the Crafts Guild to afford better future for himself."==good...

    AIEEE!!! CN is not insanity!!!!

And on the Gripping Hand ;) , Chaos can more sanely be describbed as Lack of Socialability. Ie Chaotic characters, while they have family, religious beliefs, and a nationality, etc., don't even remotely believe in them as 'isms'. Ie they are so not devoted to these as ideals that they refuse...

    Bull's Strength etc.

Slighty OT, but I am dissapointed in the durations of Summon Monster. At 1st lvl, the spell lasts for only one round...totally useless for a 1st lvl caster; especially compared with other spells like Magic Missile, which always hits...How much damage can a Celestial Monkey do even if it hits in...

    Library Books

A campaign I am in had a magic library of black stone obelisk-books each an immovable and apparantly indestructable. '1x3x9' slab, arrayed circularly around the indexing device. Words, unreadable to us, would fly accross the surface upon command...by an NPC. This lost treasure was protected by...

Item Creation and the error of loosing Experience

By the Rules IIRC, an Item Creater can never spend enough XP to force him/herself to lose a level, so you never lose skills and such due to degredation. Though you have neatly rationalized the reduced rate of XP advancement. Frostmarrow, I forgot that one of the possible side effects of item...
