D&D General The Making of Original Dungeons & Dragons: 1970-1977 Coming In June

Little Caesars may not exactly be gourmet food, but at least you can still get a large pizza there for just seven bucks.

D&D 5E (2014) Vecna: Eve of Ruin Coming May 21st!

Could someone please explain to me why he has both his hands in the illustration. I haven't read the previously-published Vecna adventures, so did he somehow regain his eyeball and his hand and then reattach them in one of those modules? Or maybe regrow new ones somehow?

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Reveals The Confirmed Release Dates of 2024's D&D Slate

You mention T1 and N1. I think T1 should remain a part of T1-4, as it works best that way, but N1 is an excellent choice. I consider it one of the best 1e adventure modules. I would also like to see UK3: The Gauntlet updated and reprinted. Although it never received much acclaim, I've...

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Reveals The Confirmed Release Dates of 2024's D&D Slate

My own preference is "5.0e" for the original rules, "5.5e" for the revised rules, and "5e" if you're referring to 5th edition as a whole.

D&D General Deck of Many Things rerelease fixed (or not?)

A draw like that will teach them there PCs not to stick their little wet noses into things best left alone!

D&D General Deck of Many Things rerelease fixed (or not?)

It could be that WotC has been getting after Amazon about this problem and that Amazon is now trying to clean house. For the past couple of days, Amazon has listed the deck as a Pre-order item, saying it will be released on Feb 15. Or, perhaps Amazon and the Amazon merchants have all just...

    Dragon Reflections #74

I suppose I'll be called an old fogey, but I VERY MUCH miss my monthly fix of Dragon magazine and Dungeon magazine, especially given that WotC is only releasing a single D&D product once every few months.. It would be awesome to see these two publications return, even more so if they were...

D&D General Deck of Many Things rerelease fixed (or not?)

I'm glad to see that some folks are bringing this issue directly to WotC. If enough people go through WotC Customer Service with this issue, maybe they'll realize there's a problem with the stock being sold by Amazon (or one of the Amazon merchants) and get it sorted. A lot of people don't...

D&D General Deck of Many Things rerelease fixed (or not?)

There are now 10 reviews on Amazon, all of them poor. It's true that one of them is complaining about water damage in shipment, but the rest are pretty much whining about the quality of the cards, with some providing photos. They are also all "verified purchasers", meaning they bought the...

D&D General Deck of Many Things rerelease fixed (or not?)

A few copies of the "fixed" Deck of Many Things have been popping up on Amazon since it's release Jan 5th, but they keep selling out for a while and then popping up again and selling out again. So far there is only one review posted (dated Jan 7th), and it is far from flattering. The reviewer...

D&D General Crummy online product catalog

I remember how, in the days before the internet, TSR used to send product catalogs to friendly local game stores which customers could use to see what was going to be released over the next few months or, occasionally, the entire year. This was supplemented with the TSR Previews announcements in...

The center of the back cover (alternate cover) appears to show the obelisk in the process of shattering.

D&D 5E (2014) Glory of the Giants price drop meaning

I've noticed that Amazon has been slowly dropping the price of "Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants" in the days since it's release and it's currently at a new low at $34.88. It's normal for them to gradually drop their D&D book prices over time, but most of them don't seem to drop this fast...

D&D 5E (2014) Book & Deck of Many Things Sneak Peek!

Does this have one of those annoying outer boxes where you have to tear off a strip (effectively damaging the box) in order to open it?
