Don't know about no other thread but like many I am pretty dismayed that it happened here. It takes courage to stand up for yourself and it takes even more courage to have been beaten and then wronged when you wanted to talk about it. I wish you a speedy recovery both body and soul.

In Conquest Born remains high on my list of good books despite having read it more than a decade ago. The Coldfire stuff is interesting with a few great characters but overall an average series.

I have finished (and slept since this morning). Overall, it looks to be well done but there are a few .....ahemmm, quirks. They aren't avoidable by the novel, so I can gracefully ignore them. Ugly stuff....Yoda versus Darth Sidious, Mace versus DS, Anakin vs Dooku.

I am nearly done with Stover's novelization of episode 3 and so far it is a darn fine piece of work (not that I would have expected any less from him). His characterization of Anakin's inner self is a work of beauty and, of course, tragedy. Anyone else gettin jiggy with it?
