Info from the WotC 2007 January to April Catalog

This has got to be the funniest thing I've seen all week. I nearly fell on the floor reading the responses. Ari, I don't think I'd have much trouble with your name, but I live in a 80% Jewish town on long Island and have a difficult Israeli name myself. Will, I can't claim to have been...

Info from the WotC 2007 January to April Catalog

I'm surprised, given how prolific you are. If you look on the bright side, perhaps you'll have two books in the same month come out later on.

Info from the WotC 2007 January to April Catalog

Why is it that these product catalogues never get my name right? For Dragons of Faerun, they had me written as Eytan Burnstein. For the Magic Item Compendium, that have me written as Evan Bernstein. Is it really that hard?? It's absolutely infuriating!

WotC releases for March 2007: Cormyr, Magic Items, Star Wars RPG

I assure you, there will be no lack of magic items. The format may be expanded, but not at the expense of having tons of items.

WotC releases for March 2007: Cormyr, Magic Items, Star Wars RPG

A lot of people are assuming that the MIC will be organized in the same way as the Spell Compendium, only including reprints, updates, removal of setting specific elements, and errated versions of spells compiled from a million different sources. While I can't officially say that they're wrong...

WotC releases for March 2007: Cormyr, Magic Items, Star Wars RPG

Looks like you'll be getting both of my books in the next 8 months. You never know, but I think people will be quite happy with the MIC, regardless of their current conceptions of what it will contain.

Ten Reasons you will love Dragonspawn

They are not all humanoid. As to Wik's question, as far as I'm aware, Spawn are specific to Tiamat and there are no Spawn of Bahamut. Bahamut is a good god, thus he doesn't tend to create weird hybrid creatures for the purpose of war. To answer Turjan's question, they first appear in MMIV, but...

    Origins Awards 2006 results

I found Shadows Over Camelot amusing enough, but people with very strong competitive streaks probably won't like it because you aren't usually competing against the other players (unless you happen to draw the traitor). I happened to be the traitor my first game, and it went quite well, so I...

Are there "typical" spell lists available?

I'd look through the various sample characters in the 3.5 books (especially the Complete series) and see the example spell lists given. While those are generally for prestige characters, there are various specialist and generalist wizards (with PrC levels). From those you can extrapolate the...
