Yeah, for best results the primary color really should have been a more brown-green, instead of the red-orange. That’s really the only issue I have with it though.

You and I have had a near-totally opposite 5e experience as players then. I envy you. In my personal experience, most DMs go entire campaigns without giving their players any gold or magic items. NONE WHATSOEVER.

Playing right now. We’re in a war campaign fighting against orcs. So many orcs. It’s awesome. EDIT Light cleric just discovered Radiance of the Dawn. Player is all but drooling in excitement.

Adventurer’s guild. I prefer an episodic style of play, where each campaign is basically a string of one-shot sessions and I find the adventurer’s guild method works perfectly for this.
