I tasted that sauce at my first D&D basic game ever as a solo player with a M-U with only 1HP and no Con. He died three times from the same kobold in the entrance of a B2 cave. I thought D&D is a stupid game. I'll never play again. 6 months later a found a different DM.

We use roll or take average if it's a low roll. To bad they don't make HP dice with, for example, only 5 to 8 on a d8. :D
