On that test I got: 16/16/16/13/17/16. I expected between 14-16 on the first three, but not the last three. I thought my intellegence would be a little higher and the rest lower. On the IQ test you posted I got low again with around 130, so maybe I'm just not as smart as I would like. :(

In the SRD, under creating magic items, it says: Notice how it says magic item, not weapons and armor.

He's thinking more along the lines of finding another chameleon to sell it to. What merchant would buy it? Most chameleons keep thier talents to themselves. He is kinda stuck with it.

Flar will see if there is anyone selling magical items in the town. He is looking for an item of protection beyond his armor, such as a ring or amulet. He takes 2300 gold with him. If he finds nothing or cannot barter a price affordable to him, he will report back to Lord Randal.
