    Divine version of arcane admixture?

I was bummed to see that Divine Power doesn't have a feat corresponding to Arcane Admixture. What do people think of house-ruling one? Arcane characters have the option to really specialize thanks to this feat, as well as to limit their weakness against resistant enemies. Pick a fire power...

    Weapon for Goliath Barbarian

14 dex is plenty to pick up HBO, but not sword mastery (unless you pump dex, etc.). So, a fullblade would be a very viable option. With monster con, though, it's hard to pass up on hammer rhythm and massive [w] damage from the mordenkrad.

Two-weapon Rangers really get the short end of the stick

Actually, the two weapon ranger is one of the most powerful builds in the game. While its defenses are less than spectacular, chances are you're going to pump your dex a decent amount. You'll want to keep a decent dex both for your ranged backup and for your defenses. It's also key for a...

Is Divine Rage an Implement power?

If it's in the final version of the magazine, that's the official version (absent any errata). The compendium has a lot of errors, ranging from little typos to significant oversights. So, yeah, I'd go with implement power.

    Forced Unmount?

It's covered on p. 46-47 of the DMG. In relevant part: Mounting or dismounting is a standard action, so knocking them off (automatic if you knock the horse prone) is good stuff. Also, you and your mount share one set of actions even if you're separated. So it takes a move action to stand...

    Weapon for Goliath Barbarian

If you're going with con, pick up the Mordenkrad for sure. Hammer rhythm is spectacular. Exe axe is always one of the best options, but if you have the con for the hammer feats, might as well grab it. You miss out on high crit, but hammer rhythm will more than make up for it (especially since...

Do attacks granted from a Sustained Range Power grant Opportunity Attacks?

The way I've always conceptualized it, the action you take is what provokes an opportunity attack. A move action, a ranged attack, etc. When you're sustaining (e.g. "sustain minor"), you're not taking an action that appears on the list of those provoking OAs. Therefore, you don't provoke one...

What happens with reliable multi-target powers?

Yeah, I'm gonna chime in on the side of Zorai et al. RAW is most definitely such that any miss causes the power not to be used up. Each time you roll, you either hit or miss. Thus 1 miss out of 8 means there was a miss in the use of the power. You get the power back. Need errata, for sure.

    Speaking Stones.

I wonder if my DM would object to me putting one in a banana peel and breaking into song whenever it's used... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5C6X9vOEkU

Lead the Attack vs. solo monsters: unbalancing?

Given that the 50% hit rate leads to a 2+ hour combat bringing the dragon down to half of hits HP, I'm not sure that's really a problem. Hitting 75% of the time, all else equal, knocks it down from a 4 hour to a 3 hour encounter. Solo monsters are geared to challenge a well functioning party...

Random Encounter Generator UPDATED June 12th

I'm also getting a timeout. Kinda sad :( I wanted to pass this on to my DM.

Cloak of Invisibility: Best item in the game?

Haha great thread, fun read. Yeah, RAW pretty clearly makes for a ridiculously powerful cloak, whether or not you think it's broken. The whole idea that it's just an unclearly-written version of the invisibility spell is shot by the fact that it enumerates the conditions for the invisibility...
