I don't have any experience with past versions of KK, but I really, really enjoyed the movie. Me, Thormagni (and his clan), Gaspar (and his oldest), and Odovacar went to see it on my Birthday. It was a blast. :) Plus, thanks to the generosity of Thormagni's Clan, I got in for free! WOO!

Bummer. It does sound as if they are having greater problems, but that's really no excuse.

I reckon I straddle the line on this subject. I think some people need mechanics in order to play. If you don't need the mechanics, great! But, for some, they need to be there.

I'd say a month is reasonable.

Comic Carnival is in the Wal-Mart shopping center up towards Southport on 31. It's that large shopping center on the right just past the Hooters, Outback, and IHOP with the Wal-Mart in it. I don't know where any others are in Greenwood anymore.

hehehe. I'd like to be the 3rd spoke on the creation wheel. ;) Just for another source for good information, Dark Sun is being converted/has been converted to 3rd Edition at The Burnt World of Athas. I have no idea what the magic system is like.
