Is it possible to link to specific posts?

That's weird. Doing some quick testing, I've found that the "permalink" link is currently tied to the page of the post. That is, the link it formed with that information within. I tested changing the page number but leaving the post the same, and the link always brought me to the first post...

    It doesn't? How so?

    Character Builder has been Updated!

That these are listed as "issues" on the Known Issues List suggests to me that they are things they are working on implementing. Stealth preview?

Dragon 394: Executioner - at last! Was it worth the wait?

My one gripe was that they didn't mention Halflings in the intro text. They're freaking Dex/Cha, how can they not be mentioned? Murdering bastard halflings, come on!

Game of Thrones 10-minute preview Dec 2010

Buffalo (95") gets more snow on average than Juneau (84") and Anchorage (60"), and slightly more than Iqaluit (93"). Syracuse, on the other hand, trumps them all (121"). :) As far as temperature goes; Syracuse, Juneau, and Buffalo are all fairly similar, with Anchorage a bit colder. Iqaluit...

    Stargate Universe canceled

Not a surprise at all, given the abysmal ratings. It's a shame, because the last few episodes have been decent, and showed promise for further decency. Perhaps that's damning with faint praise, but I wouldn't call the show great. Still, the writers seemed to have gotten their act together...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

I've thought the same thing at times as well. I can totally imagine Sep's game as an e-mail game, or a PbP game. Playing in it always seems a little unwieldy to me. Of course, that suggests the question of where it stops being a game, and where it starts being a shared story. If the actual...

Dexter Season 5 (Spoilers for latest episodes)

What frustrated me the most about the finale was that, in the end, nothing "physical" actually changed. I saw this whole season as Dexter beginning to realize his humanity, and so in that aspect the finale really set that up. There were numerous moments where Dexter was actually feeling...

Your Group is Missing a Role

Not having a Leader is probably the one that you have to adjust the party for the most, but I don't think they're indispensable. Defenders have lots of ways to mitigate damage (and some healing), and Strikers have lots of ways to avoid getting hit (or for Barbarian, soak up damage)...

Poll: Why do you give out XP?

Generally, I give out XP for posts that contribute to the feeling that is ENW. I purposefully leave that undefined, but usually it's for people that write insightful commentary on things I'm interested in, and people that are helpful in answering questions. I only do it sporadically, depending...

    Hammer time! Trailer for THOR...

I've never really been a fan of Thor, as far as the comics go. I don't dislike the character in any way, I just don't really care. I didn't like the trailer much at all. Sure, it looked pretty (except the Valhalla fly-over, and some of the Mjollnir effects). However, it pretty much failed as...

    EUREKA#10:O Little Town/Season IV/2010

Eureka had the better story, but I ended up liking Warehouse 13 better. It tied up some minor story points, Joshua and Claudia had great chemistry, and it opened with Pete and Myka breaking the fourth wall. My big complaint was the incredibly awful end to the Pete/Myka storyline - basically...

Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

I fall into Aravis's camp as far as this goes. My personal philosophy is generally that the players set the bar for what is acceptable and what is not-acceptable by their actions. There was a SH (I forget which one) I read before that specifically called out Disjunction as a specific tactic...

Game of Thrones 10-minute preview Dec 2010

I have to say, this looks incredible. I was dubious at the start, but every time I see new info on this, I get more and more excited. April can't get here soon enough.

    The Walking Dead

Utterly pointless. If they didn't know what synapses were, what possible usable information did they really think they were going to get? Blah. Didn't really care if Building Code Lady stayed; I still don't even know her name. For a second, I actually thought the show might kill Andrea and...

    STARGATE UNIVERSE #10:Resurgence (1)/(FINAL)Season 2/2010

In fairness to Eli, Chloe running amok is (supposedly) a pretty big threat to the ship. Even if it was blatantly obvious she did something to aid Destiny. Interesting (and a little annoying) thing about XP - the only part that can be disabled is the display. You can still give and receive XP...

    Badass Bacteria

In theory, you might be able to use it to poison a water supply. If you throw these bacteria in the wild, they'll rapidly switch back over to phosphorous (per the paper). Whether the excess arsenic is removed from the cell, or kept in the cell, the paper didn't say. I'd assume it's excreted...
