So... you make it cost more to punish the powergamers? I prefer to let GMs deal with how to keep that stuff from happening. Having a stat boost cost the same points that a stat drop gives is basic balance. And it's how I would house rule it. Edit: Besides... it's not actually about +2/-2...

I like it. Land of the Lost was probably my favorite show on the Krofft Superstars in the '70s. As for Sleestaks... I can stat them... But would you want them true to the series (the way I'd do it, since I prefer that way), or a CR 1 or 2 challenge?

Well ... considering you can balance a race with a +2 -2 to stats... +2 to a stat should cost the same as a -2 gives. In other words, if a -2 GIVES 4mp, then a +2 should COST 4mp. It's basic balance.

So... gear and critters (one would assume) would be pretty easy to port to D20 Modern / Future? I may have to give it a more serious thought... I just don't know... I'm always a bit leery getting a RPG version of a franchise I like a LOT. While I did enjoy Armageddon 2089, I keep hearing good...

Why not a diminishing effect? Frag Grenade: 5d6 Fire and Piercing damage. 5 ft radius. 3d6 Fire and Piercing damage. 10 ft radius. 1d6 Fire and Piercing damage. 15 ft radius. Reflex save = DC 15 for half damage. The damage does not stack. In other words... someone on top of it takes 5d6...

Yup. For example... you can simply transfer all wealth DCs to cash (with the handy dandy chart included in the book), and then run a pure cash system. Easy breezy.
