Yep... and totally forgot about it when preparing an encounter in which a Helmed Horror was supposed to block a staircase leading to an evil wizard casting spells from a first level mezzanine. My poor wizard didn't last as long as I had hoped.
Difficult to tell since I only did one other 5e campaign that ended in 2017. I would say he probably did use more slots for healing. Which was in line with doing a Greyhawk style campaign (but not in GK).
I let them take short rest to recharge special abilities. No feats, no multi-classing.
Fighter, Cavalier
Fighter, Arcane Archer
Rogue, Arcane Trickster
Cleric, Knowledge Domain
The Cavalier felt a bit under powered starting level 5. I gave the player two magic items from the familie's treasure...
I believe I did between 2 to 4 encounters per day. Always justified by the arc story the PCs were slowly uncovering. Which was a secret plot to weaken the barony of their murdered father and take over the territory.
PC didn't get 100% Hit Points each morning. They only recoup 1/2 HDs each...
I don't do complex dungeon crawls generally.
Maybe one time in a keep we did 5-6 battle day. It was a chase across the levels to capture the bad guy who escaped on the roof on his nightmare mount. Mouhahaha! (a recurring villain was created)
It was bound to happen.
We are also currently hit by a wave of 'reduceflation' in supermarkets. Packages stay the same size but contain 7-8% less so it's not readily noticeable visually to the consumer. This is due to inflation of wheat and other basic foods.

It's called Chronicle of the Throne of Thorns: Wrath of the Warden. The Chronicles are a long term campaign.

Welcome to the club! After reading the starter set I bought the Core and after reading it I went over board!
Since then I'be added the part one of the Chronicle adventure path. Trying to locate a GM screen.
Finished Elfstones of Shannara and Wishsong of Shannara. They are better than Sword of Shannara. A few good ideas but is too repetitive and predictable. I would have like these books when I was 13-14. I'm done with Terry Brooks.
Starting David Edding's Pawn of Prophecy (Belgariad book 1) for...
Last but not least. My high school crayon case bought in 1980 at the price of $15 with a month's worth of weekly allowances. Real leather. My father said I was crazy. Never broke down. I still use it today to store my high end pencils and ink pens. (the dice are not from the 80s. TSR dice didn't...
My wife's bag'o dice. Made by Hurons in Quebec City. I had a smaller one for a while but lost the leather string. Also bought a pear shaped receptacle in Jamaica to keep some dice close in the living room. You never know! 🙃
