I'm going to recommend picking up a copy of the Dragonlance Campaign Setting for 3.5! That will answer a bunch of those questions. With the exception of the artificer and warlock, every one of those classes have been featured in Dragonlance.

The PHB suggests that dragonborn can be used for draconians anyway. I would like to just think that dragonborn are either the children of draconians or a lesser version. A good draconian might be a noble draconian! As for orcs... They reason they were excluded is because draconians replaced...

I doubt we'll see that as Goodman Games has already converted The Village of Hommlet and Temple of Elemental Evil in their Original Adventures Reincarnated line. They made a huge two-volume set. It's pretty nice.

I'm wondering how easily you can put D&D elements into the L5R setting. For example, the d20 Rokugan book suggested having dwarves in the Crab clan, which seems like a good fit. Or maybe I want to emulate a wu jen somehow.
