WotC Dragonlance: Everything You Need For Shadow of the Dragon Queen

I used to get annoyed by that as well. Part of that was due to the book and game departments not talking as closely as they should have. When we (the MWP Dragonlance team) were working on Knightly Orders of Ansalon, we tried to make the rules compromise some between novels and games. For...

WotC Dragonlance: Everything You Need For Shadow of the Dragon Queen

We are awaiting for DMs Guild to open up for Dragonlance. Once the new book is out, we should be able to post Tasslehoff's Pouches of Everything Revised on there. Plus more to come!

WotC Dragonlance: Everything You Need For Shadow of the Dragon Queen

I'm going to recommend picking up a copy of the Dragonlance Campaign Setting for 3.5! That will answer a bunch of those questions. With the exception of the artificer and warlock, every one of those classes have been featured in Dragonlance.

WotC Dragonlance: Everything You Need For Shadow of the Dragon Queen

The PHB suggests that dragonborn can be used for draconians anyway. I would like to just think that dragonborn are either the children of draconians or a lesser version. A good draconian might be a noble draconian! As for orcs... They reason they were excluded is because draconians replaced...

D&D Movie/TV Hasbro To Produce Official D&D Documentary

I would love to see a legit D&D documentary. I paid into a Kickstarter D&D documentary about 8 years ago. It never came to be and I'm out money. I've tried for years to get my money back. Nada.

D&D Starter Set: Dragons of Stormwreck Isle Review

Would this adventure work well in Dragonlance?

    D&D 5E (2014) Adventures in Rokugan Arrives August 5th

Thank you for the review. I bought the PDF and was a bit saddened that it didn't have D&D-style spellcasting and that they created new classes. I was going to buy the physical book, but decided against it. However, I don't think I have looked at it close enough or given it a proper shot. I'm...

    D&D 5E (2014) Adventures in Rokugan Arrives August 5th

Does it resemble the shugenja of the 3e Oriental Adventures or Rokugan books, or is this a totally different beast?

So how does AiR handle shugenja?

D&D 5E (2014) Tales From the Yawning Portal Needs a Sequel

I doubt we'll see that as Goodman Games has already converted The Village of Hommlet and Temple of Elemental Evil in their Original Adventures Reincarnated line. They made a huge two-volume set. It's pretty nice.

D&D 5E (2014) Tales From the Yawning Portal Needs a Sequel

I really liked Tales From the Yawning Portal as it compiled and updated several classic adventure modules. We kind of got that too with Ghosts of Saltmarsh, though that stayed more to a theme. We've had a few more anthology books with original content since, which is great. However, I'm...

    D&D 5E (2014) L5R / Rokugan for D&D 5E

Cool, cool. Yeah, I feel like I'm finally getting the version of Rokugan that I've always wanted.

    D&D 5E (2014) L5R / Rokugan for D&D 5E

I'm wondering how easily you can put D&D elements into the L5R setting. For example, the d20 Rokugan book suggested having dwarves in the Crab clan, which seems like a good fit. Or maybe I want to emulate a wu jen somehow.

    Yes, it's on DriveThruRPG.

    D&D 5E (2014) Adventures in Rokugan Arrives August 5th

I am so so so looking forward to this, especially with the change in focus. I got introduced to Legend of the Five Rings through the 3rd edition Oriental Adventures and Rokugan books. The setting and lore were spot on. I also got to play L5R 2e a bit through organized play (Heroes of Rokugan)...

RPG Evolution: The Trouble with Halflings

Paizo nails halflings on the head. That's why I always envision halflings in D&D as Pathfinder halflings.

RPG Evolution: The Trouble with Halflings

Is it a lie if they honestly believe it? Dictionary.com defines "lie" as "a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth. " Key word there is "deliberate." Kender will often say something like "You must have dropped it" or "I was afraid someone else would take...

D&D Beyond would be a good source. Possibly Roll20 and user surveys.

RPG Evolution: The Trouble with Halflings

My main criticism about this article is that it's anecdotal. "In my experience" does not equal a trend. I would like to see some objective data on what races players are playing. As for kender... Players. Players are the problem. Ever since the internet was a thing, I've seen this criticism...
