Dragonlance DragonLance Paladine and Takhisis, how did they return?

Likewise, some are content that the Fifth Age, or Summer of Flame, or Taladas never happened. It depends on who you ask. Everyone has their favorite era, continent, etc. Heck, there are six alternate timelines as well. Plenty of room for DL fans of all stripes to find something they love.

    WotC Closing LISTSERV Mailing Lists

That's amazing. Do you know how to find the archive for Dragonlance? I don't see it on that link you have. I've been searching for that for years.

13th Age 13th Age and Eldritch Might Bards for 5e?

Two of my favorite pre-5e sources for bards are Monte Cook's alternate bard in the Complete Book of Eldritch Might, as well as the excellent bard found in 13th Age. What I'm wondering is how one might convert those two sources to use with the 5e bard. Personally, I love the idea of spellsongs...

    D&D 5E (2014) What's on your psionics wishlist for 5E?

I also want to see the return and further development of Sardior. Likewise, I want to see the best of the Mind's Eye articles. Likewise, I want to see campaign setting support. Dark Sun is a natural, but I want to see Eberron with psionics as well. Plus notes on using psionics in the Forgotten...

    D&D 5E (2014) What's on your psionics wishlist for 5E?

I'm making my own bucket list based on the original poster's list, because there was a lot of good stuff there. Power points! Psion class (with six subclasses, "psionic disciplines"); Soulknife subclass for monk; Psychic warrior subclass for fighters; Kalashtar PC race; Thri-Kreen PC race; A...

D&D 5E (2014) 5E has brought this old gmaer back to D&D after 8 years!

I started out in 2e, then did 3e and 4e. I loved the feel of 2e, but not necessarily the mechanics. 3e and 4e had too much math, and the game was really beginning to feel like a board game to me with 4e. I dabbled a bit into Castles & Crusades, but found I was adding rules that I felt were...

    D&D 5E (2014) Halflings Of The Corn

I am not a fan of the halfling art either. I understand the desire to make them look unique, and not like a small human and to avoid copyright issues with the hobbit, but this bit of art is horrible. One of my few complaints in D&D 5e. I prefer either the kender-like halflings of 3e and 4e, or...

WotC's Chris Perkins Talks Realms & Sundering

Part of the downfall of TSR was that they fractured their brand so much by creating so many sub-brands. WotC and Paizo both learned from that lesson. Paizo stays with one all-inclusive setting. WotC seems to now be focusing on strengthening the main D&D brand, and marketing it across many...

WotC's Chris Perkins Talks Realms & Sundering

Weis and Hickman have another Dragonlance story to tell. WotC just needs to give it the go-ahead.

    D&D 5E (2014) The Sun Blade is a Lightsaber?

I just looked, and it says it does radiant damage instead of slashing. Also re-read the description. Basically, the sun blade went from being a sword that could emit light to being a lightsaber. Which is fine, I guess.

    D&D 5E (2014) The Sun Blade is a Lightsaber?

In prior editions, the sun blade seemed like a regular sword that had the ability to light up. In 5e, it's very much a lightsaber. Nothing wrong with that, of course. However, I have to ask - was my original assumption that the sun blade was an actual sword correct, or has it been a...

    D&D 5E (2014) I Don't Have the 5E DMG

Well, the drain is beyond my ability, so I am having to call a plumber. So that alone means no DMG. Whether I can buy food or not...who knows? I'll find a way. Always do. It's been a rough month for me. I've taken family to urgent care twice, the ER once, and have a cat with a broken leg...

    D&D 5E (2014) I Don't Have the 5E DMG

I had the choice to get it or to be able to eat and fix the mega-clog in my drain that's preventing me from doing dishes and laundry. :(

    D&D 5E (2014) DMG Preview: The Multiverse

I wonder what WotC's plans are going to be for the Nentir Vale. It wasn't mentioned in the preview.

    D&D 5E (2014) DMG Preview: The Multiverse

:) I've always said that I felt Dragonlance was at its best using a D&D-based system. The one thing I liked about 3.5 for Dragonlance was that prestige classes fit the organization model fairly well. You had to take a test to join all the major organizations, which worked good as a requirement...

D&D 5E (2014) Iconic Settings; Iconic Mechanics; Iconic Stories

I think you would see a lot of support for dragonmarks and some mechanics or flavor depicting the various houses and their background. Warforged and other Eberron races are a must. I would like to see Spelljammer return to its roots some and explore wildspace and the crystal spheres, rather...

D&D 5E (2014) Iconic Settings; Iconic Mechanics; Iconic Stories

And dragonlances! I have a few things to add to that list. Knights of Neraka, Legion of Steel. Mystics. Of course, I would have a very long wish list for Dragonlance. :) Did you notice that Nentir Vale was not mentioned in the DMG preview with the known worlds? I am hoping that they're...

    D&D 5E (2014) DMG Preview: The Multiverse

So Sigil is an inner tube. :D So with this preview, what do you guys think is the future of the various campaign settings? It sounds to me like we might get a couple of adventure books and then a adventure companion book to cover them. Thoughts?

    D&D 5E (2014) DMG Preview: The Multiverse

LOL! Summer Flame was originally meant to be a trilogy, but the Powers That Be (with the Finances That Were) of the time told Weis and Hickman that it was going to be just one novel instead. In my mind, Summer Flame was written as an ending to the series. There was a lot of heavy editorial...
