    OotS 446

A wall-eyed necromancing mystic theurge? She seems high-level, so it's probably a character that'll stay for a while.

[OotS 444] Does he have the X's in his eyes?

Dorukon would be the hidden lovechild of Durkon and Dorukan, if it weren't for the inconvenient fact that both are male and neither are likely to use Elan's belt of sexchange since Dorukan is a bit too dead to bother about that and Durkon is a dwarf. So, who is this Dorukon you are speaking of?

    What WotC licenses remain?

Dragon Fist. But if it's been sold, as the page says, rather than licensed, then they won't take it back. Has GR done anything with it? It seems they didn't.

As if that stopped the Dashing Swordsman.

Yeah, the Ghostwalker, the Blood Magus, and the Risen Martyr. I don't see Roy as any of these classes.

What did we learn today? That yelling, "wait!" doesn't stop gravity. Even if you use full caps and a double exclamation mark.

    Xykon Potter!

The Zombie Dragon is not destroyed yet, so of course the eyes are still open. :p They'll magically close if Roy inflicts enough damage to the rest of the body!

    [Eberron] Suspicions about Dal Quor

That reminds me of the hypothesis of Michel Tournier (French novelist) that if your dreams always picked up where they last ended, you would be unable to tell which life is real. There's a webcomic that uses this premise, The Dreamland Chronicles. Not that it has anything to do with Dal Quor.

One fake Xykon gone, two to go! The Huecuva will likely be problematic, but the Eye of Fear and Flame can probably be simply shooed away by shouting "boo!"

Magic Item Compendium - Missing Gauntlets?

Should have been called "gloves", then. :p

Yup. He ripped the robe, not the cloak.

Cerebus Syndrome. A comic all about teh phuny can either try to become serious, or let itself become stale and boring. In the first case, you may save the funny and get something like Sluggy Freelance, or you may fail lamentably as pulling a Cerebus isn't easy. In the other case, however, you...

More respectful image hotlink, as it doesn't hotlink from giantitp but from imageshack, and it's in thumbnail form (click on it for the full image).

    OotS #440

You forget Old Bandit Boss, killed by Miko after she killed his daughter. And, although he wasn't a combative NPC, the previous leader of Azure City. Likable old NPCs get swords run through them with a great regularity. Roy's dad would be the exception, 'cause he was already dead before the...

Would you roll the d4 if...

Depends if the DM let you have spell prepared memorized (i.e., you didn't have the bright idea of casting all your spells while you were doing whatever made you lose your spellbook).

Medusa & Mind Flayer "couple" - where is it?

Hey, gelatinous cubes have genders, too!

Medusa & Mind Flayer "couple" - where is it?

The BoED also has a female illithid, which is kinda stupid, but hey. The author probably went for "girls are good" aspect since it's a sample creature for the "redeemed monster" concept.

The Year of Drizzt? (20th Anniversary)

Driz'zt is the hidden offspring of Drizzt and Graz'zt (who, like Loki, can take a female form when he needs to). There's also Grizzt, Griz'zt, Draz'zt and Drazzt, but only Driz'zt is the rebel. Fear him. If you thought the twinkery, the clichery, and the angst was bad enough for a good-hearted...
