    Question about pregen fighter

I believe her feat - Dwarven Weapon Training, gives her a +2 to damage. However, we won't know until we get the books. Or someone from WotC says so.

Wow, healing surges was something I had not thought of, and seems like quite a good choice for any Dragonborn character of any class, especially Paladins with their Lay on Hands :D It's flavourful and not too overpowering.

    D&D 4E The 4e Pit Fiend Revisited

Actually, if you look at the numbers for the minions he can summon, a level 22 war devil seems to have the same worth as 4 level 21 legion devils, and as we know the power level curve is not that steep in 4E, it makes sense to me that Legion Devils would be minions, while the War Devils are...

    D&D 4E The 4e Pit Fiend Revisited

We've already seen an example of Frost weapons, and they deal extra Cold damage on a Critical Hit. What's interesting is his attack is with a 'flametouched mace', which if it's anything like 3.5 means that Fire Elementals were involved in its creation.

Since you asked so nicely :p For the Draconic Heritage, my guesstimation (which is a page back and has been ignored :( ) was that they may apply their Charisma score instead of their Constitution score to their starting hit points, as that would overall be far more useful than substituting...

Aww, man, that line always kills the arguments! ;) I'm interested to see if anyone has put together and playtested a Dragonborn character yet? (I imagine it is a bit soon).

Actually, given that a breath weapon is, in some respect, a RANGED attack, Dexterity makes much more sense than Strength does for Dragon Breath, and even more so than Charisma. I also don't see how force of personality could ever be considered as helpful attribute for breathing fire from your...

D&D is dying by the hour

No it's not, it's an optional tool that Wizards are supplying to help the community. I imagine there'll be people playing 4th Edition without so much as peaking at the internet to find something.

I would bet it's more likely that the third entry on attack for the Dragon Breath is Dexterity +2 vs Reflex, so that the Rogues don't all feel left out. It also makes more sense given the other two stats are physical ones.

D&D 4E What do we know about treasure in 4e?

I reckon the good old 'wealth by encounter difficulty' system will stay in place, with magic items being handed out either as often as the DM wants or as often as the players get lucky on the magical random loot table.

    D&D 4E The 4e Pit Fiend Revisited

While the Pit Fiend functions perfectly well in his role as Leader, making his allies both harder to hit and making it easier for them to hit (Aura of Fear + Point of Terror are a nasty combination) but his damage is still incredibly weak. Any character with decent Fire Resistance (which will...

    D&D 3.x 3.5 is Anime! Wait, what?

Has anyone else noticed that the woman looks more manly than Cloud? I'm just sayin'!

    I got New DDM today.

I'm sorry to say this, but that green Dragon's head looks rediculously large. That, or I didn't look at the picture long enough and mistook it for part of the wing... Edit: No, it is rediculously large. All I can think of when I look at that is some kind of cartoony dragon

    One concern (sorta)

It's still perfectly possible that Rituals will be castable if you take a relevant feat. We won't know for certain until A) Wizard says so or B) someone reads the book. I can see this being the case as it'd make multiclassing a whole lot easier if that too is now some form of 'take another...

    One concern (sorta)

While I'm not sure about there being a source, I think it'll be like Trapfinding - some classes start off with it, but you can take a feat to learn to do it yourself. Edit: Now there is a source for that. It's a Design & Development article, but I can't remember which. Possibly the Feats one.

    New Information from the UK

It's not D&D if it's not called a Fighter :p But seriously, I think they just said it so people could go 'Ahhh, Warrior. Warriors does hitty things' rather than 'Fighter. Fighty? He like warrior?'. What I'm interested in, though, is that a 12 year old can play a level 23 Fighter.

    One concern (sorta)

From what I understand, you only gain new encounter and daily powers as you level, and they are reasonably interspersed (so far we know you get a daily attack at levels 9 and 15, while you get an encounter attack at level 13) and you can gain more powers from feats. I imagine that these new...

    New Information from the UK

I reckon it's not so much a stance as a sustain minor power. It probably just says stance there as most of the power descriptions are very simplified. Now stop putting WoW in my D&D :p ... more than I want it to be.

Crap. Aslong as they go forget the Black Dragon-spiders and the Bluespawn Godslayer is in it shouldn't be so bad... Cause, let's be honest, a Black Dragon-spider is a bit too Lolth.

    Rakshasa are in!

As they appear to be natural humanoids (from DDM cards, can't find link right now), I doubt they'll be coming from any Astral Domains. I wonder if there will Rakshasha Barons, Warriors and Assassains, or it'll be Zakya, Rakshasha and Al'chazar (yeah, forgot what the last one is) in the actual MM.
