    Cost of Vampiric weapon property?

Aha! I thought about that! Undead are healed by negative energy, so you gain nothing - you get the negative energy damage they take, and undead don't take any damage. This also means you don't get healed if the target is under a Death Ward, because they're immune to negative energy damage.

    Cost of Vampiric weapon property?

Gah! It's intended to be "heals", not "gains". Dumb error on my part. It doesn't take you above your normal maximum. I'll edit that.

    Cost of Vampiric weapon property?

What bonus would you call this as a weapon property? I'm thinking it's +3 but I'm not sure. There's only one other +3 bonus, speed, and it's quite powerful. It feels worse to me than Brilliant Energy (most attacks are touch attacks, some foes are immune to the weapon) and better than the various...

    Streamlining Traits

I think traits are a good place for things like contacts, allies, and organizational support. I've played lots of games that give you the option of paying for that kind of thing somehow but d20 games don't have the point-based options that allow for that kind of detail. Traits are a good...

    Streamlining Traits

If there's solely a mechanical effect to a trait, I'd rather be able to decide my own flavor to the mechanics. I agree with the OP's intent - I'd rather see a short list of generic mechanical traits that allow minor customization to your character than have Paizo waste time reprinting the same...

    Sending Wiz5 Question

I've always assumed it meant someone you've seen, whether through a scrying effect or in person. You can cast Scrying on someone by description and then cast Sending on them, for example. It could mean the same as in the scrying spell, though.

    If D&D didn't exist

Without D&D and variants, I'd just play more Savage Worlds. Wouldn't put me out too much, though there are times I prefer the crunch of D&D.

    Let's build an imbalanced rogue

Interesting. The ninja trick Rogue Talent says you can't take a talent with the same name as a ninja trick, but Ninja Trick for the rogue doesn't have equivalent text. I didn't notice that before.

    Help:Art of Deception(Spy) work with Versatile Performance(Bard)?

You're right, it doesn't make much sense. Versatile Performance doesn't. Your example is really the most sensible use of the power, too. You have to seek out bonuses to Perform checks if you want to maximize it. I'm not really a fan of Versatile Performance, but that's how it's written. You...

    Help:Art of Deception(Spy) work with Versatile Performance(Bard)?

I think A is most accurate - you use the Perform skill with all its bonuses rather than the bonuses to the skill you're replacing. If you want to use bonuses to the skill you're actually doing, don't use Versatile Performance.

    My groups first dragon encounter/adventure.

A clan of swamp-dwelling ogres might be fun. Pathfinder ogres tend to be hillbilly degenerate types, that can fit well in swamps. Lizardfolk are a very common choice for swamp encounters, though I like them better as tropical island-dwellers.

    Ceramic DM?

It's a lot of fun. I've done it twice - wrote a piratey fantasy story that got stomped by PirateCat and a Call of Cthulhu-ish modern tale that won a round before Real Life pulled me away. I'd love to see it come back. I might throw my hat into the ring to compete, though I haven't written...

    Male Monsters

So far plants and aberrations haven't really featured in the game - haven't really felt the loss of 'em. There's a lot of monsters out there and they don't all have to show up much in every campaign. Most of our opponents have been humanoids, monstrous humanoids, or appropriate minions. Lots of...

    Rogue: Pure skill personified

My solution is to give rogues access to those abilities that alter the way the skill check works and give them more options with the skills, rather than just ramping up the numbers they can get. The "roll twice and take the better" mechanic is better to me because it reinforces the rogue being...

DMs, How would you play out this in game sport?

I've been in a game where we did this and had a blast. We played it out. Several players got to play their normal PCs while the rest played opponents that the GM wrote (I think it was 4 on 4 with an eight person group). We picked who from our group would compete based on how physical they were...

Does the Summoner even need spells?

I'd play something like the little girl party member in Jade Empire with such a class. She was possessed by a spirit and a demon, and would transform in combat to a large spirit creature. You could side with the good spirit or the evil one and choose which she turned into. Always liked that...

    Rogue: Pure skill personified

I like this solution better - I was planning something similar based on the same source material, but costing cunning to activate it. I let the rogue pick any rogue class skill and didn't restrict based on the skill use, though, so they could move past foes with a good Acrobatics roll and feint...

    What do Medusababies eat?

In previous editions they ate meat. There was a male medusa equivalent called a maedar that could shatter petrified victims and then turn them back to flesh, which the lovely couple would then eat. Presumably they had no qualms about eating people. As a baby, I'd say they would eat mostly meat...
