Evil things which drain levels might also allow one to use xp from non item creating casters. Indeed the evil use of such monsters, spells, and items is a basic part of a campaign I am now writing up.

I am currently working on a campaign yet to be introduced whereby arcane magic was plentiful (with the world run by the bad guys) and is now almost poof-gone due to some disaster.(bad guys are apparantly gone too) It is essentially a low magic campaign amongst the ruins of a high magic world...

I would assert that mages with Item Creation feats would have a bonus to IDing related items without the use of the Identify spell.

I am mostly looking for a tool to 1st create said campaign. Campaign management is second; combat management is third. For some reason I can't get Java 1.4.1 to work....so I can't try PCGen nor others. :( I must get help this weekend when I have time.
