My longest lived group is my wife, kids, and I, at about 8 years now. Aside from that my longest lived face to face group it around 5 years, and my online SKYPE/Maptools group is 4.5 years old, with over 50% original members, meaning 4 out of 7 of us.

I like a lot of systems. Castles and Crusades, Aces and Eights, Cthulhu Tech, Mouse Guard, Wild Talents, Qin, Legends of the 5 Rings, Traveller, Shadowrun, Paladium Fantasy, RIFTS, Dresden Files, Savage Worlds, CORTEX, Starblazer Adventures, Eclipse Phase, Mutants and Masterminds, True20 and more.

Here is a clue, play what you like, don't worry what the masses think. Paladium Fantasy, like RIFTS, is jam packed with fantastic setting, and the rules and classes largely work, but some house ruling will likely occur. The most important thing is that you will have fun, and lots of it.

Yeah, but the mechanics need to be fairly close to not interfere. I've played in a CORTEX sci fi game and a post apocalypse game, but never one that used magic or supernatural stuff. So just wondering how well it emulates mystical/magical/supernatural type stuff.
