    Which do you prefer?

GM, for me it is all about being creative and wanting to write a book (not good enough for that), see gaming as a way to tell a story, to build a world and entertain.

Best "rats in the tavern cellar" map?

No, think it started with WFRPv1. It had The Rat Catcher and small dog, which set it off. Plus Skaven! Just cool villains with great background. But think Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser may have had a story with Ratmen in it. If you are talk just giant rats, H.G. Wells Food of the Gods. Plus...

How Quickly Do You Bounce Off a System?

The heart wants what the heart wants. Once that heart is broken, it is off to another, we all have a vision of what we are looking for, but it comes down what we will live with. The biggest problem, gaming is a group activity. LOL.

    What Should the Bard Be?

Lore keepers, Internation men of mystery, new reporters out for a story

I want my actions to matter

What IF. What if everything, for every action there is a reaction. When the players do something think of something to follow it up on and keep records, just do not drop it build off the action. Just be prepared for a lot of notes. Example of this, players keep using fireballs in buildings...

    Recommend me a System

I say go online and try different systems. Find one you like by testing, touching and feeling it. Any system we offer up will be because we are fans but that does not mean you will be.

Signatures, signs, signets, marks and such.

Due you use them? Does your party have a banner, a stamp, an icon they are known by. Do your bad guys? Does your thief leave behind a silk glove? Your assassin place pennies over the eyes? Does your wizard bear a dark mark? There are many reasons to have them, paperwork, IDs, business, you...

    Your Harebrained Ideas?

That races in fantasy are not just humans with bumpy heads and different skin colors. That they have their own traits and limitations that should be reflective in the game and not mixed with other races. That learning and teaching should be a STAT and that the number limits your advancement...

What are you favorite RPG genres?

Need to remember that you do not need to place everything in a genre, sometimes just placing material under fiction is all that is required. Thinking The Handmaid's Tale is that way, yes you could place it in another genre but is there a need.

    Introducing the BBEG

They never did, group fell out before the end of the campaign
  16. Hand of Evil

    Introducing the BBEG

Well, I try to keep the BB "hidden" as long as possible, mostly using go between. My most shocking BB was the mother of one of the player characters. His background was youngest son and black sheep of a noble family, and I took that and ran with it. She sent "job" to the party to increase...

How hard is learning a new TTRPG system?

Not hard at all BUT it is like finding a place to eat that everyone is going to be happy with. 5E is the that famous burger joint, other systems are variations of that burger joint or specialty places that offer atmosphere. It comes to what is everyone comfortable with. :)

    Your Dream Campaign

Land grab sounds simple but can get complex with hooks and variations. Some ruins, underground, forest and city environments, organized crime, throw in some corrupt officials, a few murders and a cult. Has a lot of real-world history to draw from and use, Chinatown fantasy role play.

What Is Your Favorite Campaign Setting?

Favorite; Warhammer's Old World, just fits my needs. Next up would be Earthdawn. 3rd on my list and current world; The Witcher World as presented in the computer game. Found the setting book online before the TTRPG came out and use it with Zweihander rules.
