I'm all for getting rid of half elves outright. I mean really, aren't 3 races enough? Plus elves are already tougher than they used to be, I see no reason why half elves are tougher still.

Ever try to climb out of a pool of water with a full set of clothes on? Or a full set of adventuring gear? It takes a lot of effort to break the surface. Personally I'd wonder what was going on when I went flying into the 'air' when I should be struggling to pull myself up.

Wow... Ok, first off the pricing I've seen is ridiculous, a leadership bonus is a 'nice thing' but obviously not worth 20-50k. I'd just state the possessor of the sword receives Great Renown which is a non-magical +2 to leadership. Quick. Elegant. Easy.
