please let me come over and let anybody knock out who claims that this will give him some rest!
seriously, use some common sense, so hell no! being knocked out isn't really resting.
on the other hand, it's a fantasy game!
maybe allow it for PCs with con > 16, dwarves, ...
but realistically...
This. This. And this.
for those who think now: OMFG, the wizard is powerless now!
No, not true.
He lost some firepower, but got more hp, cantrips, at-wills, can wear armor (costs feats, okay, but it's worth it).

good idea. otherwise, why would anybody - except for the paladin - NOT take the fighter multiclass feat? you get 3 feats in one: skill training, armor & shield proficiency.
I also think that the class features should be limited, full sneak attack & warlock's curse is too powerful IMO, same as...
you are right, with that feat you won't get the major defending fighter ability.
but if that is your goal, than you should start with fighter and multi-class the other way.
after having seen so many useless, broken or crazy (I mean those with more than 3 classes) combos in 3e,
having seen 1e...
while this build looks technically good, the low charisma bugs me.
IMHO every warlord should be at least a little charismatic.
not in the flashy pretty boy sense, more the presence stuff...
That would be awesome. With a job and 2 kids I don't get anywhere.
I'd like to contribute more, but I guess I won't achieve more than that feat list.
AKW
good idea!
here's a feat spreadsheet.
if someone has something similar for powers, that would be great!
I do not have any illegal pdfs, just the books, but I want to build my characters with my computer...

Thanks guys!
I like the tables (copy and e-mail to friends...).
I would emphasize the gain of options for martial characters through powers.
And actually sorry for another "4e-options"-thread.

Hi,
our long time gaming group is discussing 4e. Should we switch?
I am for the change to 4e, me likes!
The main argument from those against 4e are:
1) no more 100s of spells to choose from
2) not enough character building options!
my thoughts about:
1) yes, true, the spellcasters give up...
hmmm, the removal of all the metamagic stuff is definitely bad for the casters.
but concerning your cleric:
maybe you should give him some more melee power?
and for other feats:
at least intelligence is good for being a restrictive prereq for some feats...
;)
