I went with Charisma with the dump stat because I can't see a level of warlord where I would take a charisma based power over some other warlord power or a wizard power. Also, I wanted the tiny boost to wisdom for perception checks.

I decided to go with Spiked Chain for several reasons. It is a +3 to hit. So, for the exotic weapon feat, I get a +1 over every other reach weapon with every attack. Also, having a reach weapon allows me to stay behind the fighter and paladin and (hopefully) have less need for toughness. Finally, Leaf on the Wind has some interesting possibilities with a reach weapon (You or an ally adjacent to the target swaps places with the target) which I take to mean that I can hit from 2 squares away and still pull the switch. So if we line up E=enemy, W = Warlord, F=Fighter, R=Rogue, you have

EFWR

then after I execute leaf on the wind

WFER

Went with the wizard powers to have some nice ranged and secondary controller options.

I thought about taking a Thundering Spiked Chain for the ability to push an enemy 1/day but I wonder how often it would be useful over the Lightening Spiked Chain's ability to deal out a little damage to several baddies.

It is a bit weak on HP, but this isn't a fighter and the bloodcut armor should help some.

Thoughts???

while this build looks technically good, the low charisma bugs me.
IMHO every warlord should be at least a little charismatic.
not in the flashy pretty boy sense, more the presence stuff...

Just ask your DM to wave the stupid requirement in Wizard of the Spiral Tower for the "specializes" in (which isn't even a game defined term, the term is "has implement mastery for"). And take that. It's a cool paragon path.

Also, the little stated benefit of being an Eladrin is the bonus to dex lets you get heavy blade opportunity and other heavy blade feats.
