Mutants & Masterminds Patreon: An Interview With Green Ronin Publishing

Respectfully, I disagree. I think saying that a monthly sub isn't the best way for you to support a company but maybe a KS is a better fit for your budget. Different strokes.

As a consumer, you should make sure to communicate that reason as you quit a service.

Mutants & Masterminds Patreon: An Interview With Green Ronin Publishing

It's tough because companies need to keep funds coming in to pay for the development of their lines. Some companies will offer a discount, but others I think don't want to hurt their distributor or retail partners and maintain standard mark-ups even though they are getting far more of the profit...

RPG Print News – Osprey Publishing, Ulisses Spiel, and More

I think what makes it alluring is that since it's based on OpenQuest the rules are closer to Call of Cthulhu 6th Edition and before. It's a lighter game than Mythras (RQ6) & doesn't feature Glorantha. In all honesty, IMO, the best Basic Role Playing stuff is coming from publishers other than...

Save The Day With The Sentinel Comics RPG

Which is radically different for those of us who prefer traditional RPG rules. It's like games without Hit Points for me. I'm glad other people love them they just aren't for me.

Save The Day With The Sentinel Comics RPG

I backed it too and the Marvel Heroic/Cortex DNA combined with all attacks hitting has left me meh. I just wasn't a fan of Marvel Heroic and neither was my group. I think Greater Than Games made a beautiful book though and if you like Cortex, FATE, PbtA, etc you will probably enjoy this game...

Is The One Ring 2E Kickstarter going to break the records?

Was the One Ring 1E that popular? I wonder how much of the design of 2E was by the previous publisher. I will say that Middle Earth Adventures for 5E was astounding. While I respect Tolkien, I don't have much interest in playing in Middle-Earth these days, but obviously, I'm in the minority.

    A Savage Pathfinder Q&A

I wanted to take a moment and say how much I appreciate having other articles related to the conversion within the article. I try to catch every news bit posted but obviously, I miss some. Thanks for keeping the bar high.

D&D General Adam Bradford, Lauren Urban, Todd Kenrick Leave D&D Beyond

I might be wrong, but Cam hadn't delivered it and their involvement I believe made it possible for him to do so.

D&D General Adam Bradford, Lauren Urban, Todd Kenrick Leave D&D Beyond

But how popular is it? It's been literally years since it was in the market. A great IP is inviting but isn't necessarily a killer app.

Savage Pathfinder Pathfinder For Savage Worlds Kickstarter Launches Tuesday!

I my market PF2 didn't do so well. Most players either stuck with PF1 or went to D&D5, but that is just in the greater Cincinnati, OH area and Louisville, KY area. Is Kingmaker the one that only did monster conversions and not a full 5E version of the whole path?

D&D 5E (2014) The New D&D Book: Candlekeep Mysteries: 17 Mystery Adventures [UPDATED!]

This is it, the adventures are pretty darn cool.

Dragonlance There's A New Dragonlance Novel Coming

The problem is that fans always say they want something original yet new works are often lower sellers than the original product. It's a tough situation for creators and fans.

D&D 5E (2014) Return To Ravenloft In Style

Going with a softcover for the Revamped edition, especially at $100, just seemed like a terrible decision. That box is cool, but its not $100 cool with a softcover.

    My Gaming Goals for 2021

For most of my time role-playing, I've been the GM but I now belong to a group with multiple GMs. I intended to simply savor being a player in 2021.
