Yeah, I was thinking of running the AL series for home group too. We're a fairly new group and I'm a fairly new DM, so having it a bit more structured sounds appealing.

On a related topic, is AL04-01 "Suits" still coming out today? On the AL website, the "blurb" says it released on 3/1, but under the product description is says 3/15. We were hoping to run it this Saturday, but I'm wondering if I should prep Death House instead. (short notice, I know...)

The rule per page 195 in the PHB is "You can make an opportunity attack when a hostile creature that you can see moves out of your reach." There's more, but that's the gist of it. So no, moving from 10-feet to 5-feet does not provoke, since it is not moving out of the giant's reach.

Yeah, not sure why only one proficiency. The languages given are "exotic" though, which means you can usually only learn them by DM fiat. Getting a free one of those is probably considered worth two "common" languages.
