8th lvl Ok, a Psionic won't be as good as a sorc, but he still can have spells with area-damage. Nice is Whitefire, does 5d4 and has long range. Also nice is sever the tie, which does a lot damage to undead and ONLY to undead inside a given area. both are linked o con i think, but i am not...

... ...and you overlooked the biggest advantage: DC is not 10 standard but a d20, which averages to a 10.5 and can help you make the opponent need a Save that is 10(!) higher than that of an equal mage. BUT i agree with you, a Psio has too few Powerpoints. What Crothian meant is the book "If...
