D&D 5E (2014) What constitutes an "unarmed" strike?

It's up to your DM. Full stop. Some will let you kick, elbow, headbutt, etc, while others will demand you have an empty hand.

    D&D 5E (2014) Interpreting Maneuvers (Battle Master)

Would not recommend that as it would drive folks to take that for optimising damage rather than taking maneuvers that could assist the other players.

    D&D 5E (2014) Missions and Moral Compass

And do they often get to fight titanic tentacled abominations?

    D&D 5E (2014) Sticky Grappler Monk Defender

Because your allies will be able to massacre what you are pinning AND you are "drawing the foes agro" in a way since if they don't attack you or try to break out, the foe's attacks on your friends are at disadvantage. Sure going for a pin in a crowded battle is a very derpy :-S idea, but against...

    D&D 5E (2014) What solution for blind character ?

Sadly, when you are a caster, this is how many who capture you WILL deal with you.

    D&D 5E (2014) Missions and Moral Compass

Sure players get offered unpleasant missions, they don't always understand the mission is unpleasant until midway through. A noble's daughter is kidnapped by an enchanter. The noble might not even know she went willingly. Alas the enchanter & Noble's daughter have take refuge with folks the...

    D&D 5E (2014) What solution for blind character ?

Eyes and tongue cut out? Either get Regenerate or retire.

D&D 5E (2014) Does an item to enhance Unarmed Strike exist?

Monk can use a +1 monk weapon for their normal attacks, but their martial arts attacks and flurries seem intended to go unenhanced.

    D&D 5E (2014) Sticky Grappler Monk Defender

But since grapple itself eats up the attack from the attack action, until the monk gets extra attacks, if they grapple, they can't use the bonus attack from martial arts.

D&D 5E (2014) Ready action confusion - can it cause a PC to get 2 attacks in 1 round?

Just like if you beat your caster in init who was going to Haste you, you can't wait, tough luck, YOU ACT!!!

D&D 5E (2014) Ready action confusion - can it cause a PC to get 2 attacks in 1 round?

And besides, that's not how this should have gone down. First orc activates, moves in closer, sees Axechick is waiting for something, then attacks Axechick with thrown javelin from 10'. Second orc activates, moves in, sees Axechick is waiting for something, then attacks Axechick with thrown...

D&D 5E (2014) Ready action confusion - can it cause a PC to get 2 attacks in 1 round?

Yes, you are in some ways punished for a high initiative, much like in some ways you are punished for having a low initiative. This is why you can't change your initiative like in other editions.

    D&D 5E (2014) Tiefling´s horns & tail

I'd assume the enormous horns, meaty tail and garish skin tone were bones thrown to returning 4E players. But it's the DM's game, If they don't want the 4E tiefling in the setting, just remove them. I kept tieflings for my campaign to the more varied appearance of previous editions with the same...

    D&D 5E (2014) Blue Dragon "monster minions"

And so what if the MM says behirs and dragons don't get along, it's your game. A clutch of behirs raised by the dragon to be shock troops sounds fine to me. Mezzoloth are great foes. thier cloudkill can really mess up folks and Dispel magic is sooo helpful for those overconfident in their buffs.

    D&D 5E (2014) Blue Dragon "monster minions"

"Tribal warriors" Reskinned as dervishes loyal to the dragon for the benefits they believe it provides for their extended families. If you have the Princes of the Apocalypse book, a cabal of Eternal Flame Priests exchanging service for the knowledge of a City sunken beneath the sands they...

    D&D 5E (2014) DM: overwhelmed with creatures

One trick that might be of help is to use rubber bands or loom bands on the miniature to track damage. You can use a couple colours to represent damage increments 1, 5, 20, etc with other colours for status effects. Or make little labels with numbers and attach these to the bands.
