Where on Greyhawk do you run?

I was always partial to Gran March and Keoland for my adventures (Dreadwood Rocks!) For my games I use: D&D Gazeteer Living Greyhawk Gazeteer and soon: Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk I lost the maps to my World of Greyhawk and City of Greyhawk boxed sets(I had them laminated and then...

    Sigworthy

I don't remember who came up with these, but: Give a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set him on fire, and he's warm for the rest of his life. Some people are like slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

[Eberron] The names in Five Nations are pretty bad

Hmm... I guess I was wrong about that. The books and TV programs I have read and seen only touched on it in passing, and it has been a while since I saw the map of the latter HRE. Re-looking over the map in Fall of the House of Habsburg (An interesting history of the situations leading up to...

[Eberron] The names in Five Nations are pretty bad

The Holy Roman Empire was never in Italy. Charlemagne was crowned the first emperor of the HRE, and eventually it passed to rulers in Germany and Austria. It stayed there until the fall of the Habsburgs at the end of World War 1. Edit - There is a big difference between the Roman Empire, and...

What do you think is the hardest AD&D or D&D video game fight?

I didn't have a problem with that one. I don't think I had to restore more than twice. If I'm remembering correctly, I used my spellcasters to summon as many creatures as they could manage to soak up some of the damage, while I got my front line fighters, and my hidden thief into combat...

What do you think is the hardest AD&D or D&D video game fight?

The only way I found to beat the Demi-Lich was with a Wizard Eye (to keep it distracted while your characters stay out of its way), and Melf's Minute Meteors (The only spell that has a good chance of damaging it).

Which of those adventures should I get?

Man beats Peacock he said was vampire

The term for the species is peafowl. The male is called a peacock. The female is called a peahen. Just like a male chicken used to be called a ****.

Methods for Handing Out More Feats

I give an extra feat at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20. This feat can only be used for non-maximizing feats (no extra quick feat chains). This rounds out a character more and enables characters to take feats that they wouldn't normally, without weakening them.

Vorpal: DMs, Players, Games, and Snicker-Snack

A Vorpal Blade would make an excellent quest item when you need to slay a rampaging Jabberwock. I would say that vorpal weapons cannot be purchased. They have to be found while adventuring (This would be true of most high-powered magic items and artifacts). And the only reason I would allow...

Getting a full set is unreasonable

Still, for the cost of a case of minis, I could buy a bunch of gaming books that I would actually use. Out of a case like that, I would likely have about a dozen minis I would actually use, and then I would need to keep up with it by buying into the next set to get minis to go with them.

I don't buy any of them for exactly this reason.
