Mass Fly is in the Spell Compendium. Divert Teleport from the Expanded Psionics Handbook is the closest I can find to Teleport Block in WotC products.

It gives the basic stats. Enough that the spell is usable.

What I understand Hypersmurf to be saying (Hypersmurf- correct me if I'm wrong) is that an Axiomatic battleaxe has an alignment of lawful neutral. If you add Holy to it, it's alignment would change to lawful good.

Dragon Breath in the Spell Compendium is an evocation spell that grants one of ten different breath weapons. Damage is 1d8/2 caster levels (max 10d8). Three of the breath weapons do not do damage, causing sleep, slow, or paralysis for 1d6 rounds instead.

Yup, on page 9 (it is also a Clr 0 spell). Actually, in the Spell Compendium, the two parts of Affect Normal Fires have been broken out into Raging Flame (Drd 1, Sor/Wiz 1; p.164) and Slow Burn (Drd 1, Sor/Wiz 1; p.192).

I found Affect Normal Fires! I was reading thru the Spell Compendium and I found the update of the old Affect Normal Fires spell. They split it into two spells, Raging Flame (p. 164) and Slow Burn (p. 192). Gods, I have no life. :lol:

Rumour (we all know how reliable that is) was that Amazon gets the books from WotC later to keep the FLGSs from being totally undercut. I know that before 3.5 came out, Amazon was getting them at the same time as the FLGSs.

The pdf versions of the Kara-Tur info is available at www.RPGNow.com. If you can buy them from there, updating shouldn't be too difficult (fingers crossed). Other than that, Dragon magazine has had the only 3e info.

Filing the "Vancian" names off would have been okay (I guess), but they also changed names in some strange ways. One of the bumps that I hit in going thru the book was that the 8th level Simbul's Skeletal Deliquescence (how do you say that?) was replaced with the 4th level Corporeal Instability...

First off, Splinterbolt in the Spell Compendium is a 2nd level druid spell, only. No wizards will be using it. Nothing to say here, except about no wizards can cast it. There is no extra damage in a forest. At 11th level, a druid could fire off 3 bolts for 4d6 (crit 18-20/x2) piercing damage...

As per the RoD book, Illumian Barbarians can read. :eek: I am adapting the Illumians into my campaign (without the stupid glowing lights) and they are actually quite workable once you start tearing into them (and throw out the stupid glowing lights).

Okay, how about doing some of us a favor and explaining some of those terms (like pwned and 1337). I know, I probably should know what they mean, but I don't play anything but D&D and they don't come from there.

I think the main problem is that D&D does not model a true polytheistic society. I don't like the whole 'competing gods' model. It seems to be based on a more monotheistic model than a polytheistic one. In my world, gods don't compete for worshippers. Only clerics or paladins or other extremely...
