:confused: Um, the wildshape ability is a prerequisite for Natural Spell, so you can't take it as a 3rd level druid. You need to make it your 6th level feat, like it or not ... You can only wildshape once per day at 5th level anyway, so it's not a huge handicap to be stuck without spellcasting...

I'm not even sure where he's getting this from. Does a 20th level fighter threaten a critical on every attack, just because he has (at least) a +20 attack bonus?

Last campaign I ran, I used this rule: choose to take one-half the maximum, or roll. Once you roll, whatever came up on the die is what you get. Average will be higher if you choose to roll your hit points, but you risk the crappy rolls ... I'm a real bastard DM. :]

I2K and PlaneSailing are correct. Here's another way to calculate it if you're doubtful ... Suppose you get 100 hits against an opponent with concealment. That's a 20% miss chance, rolled twice because you have Blindfighting. Well, 80 times out of the 100 (on average), you roll higher than 20%...
