I recently switched to Thunderbird as well. I used to use Eudora Light, but I've been getting a lot of spam lately and wanted to try something that used a Bayesian filter to help get rid of it (and which I didn't have to pay for :)). So far, Thunderbird has worked great.

Here you go; I whipped one up in TableSmith. It'll do age, too. Select gender, race, and class, and it'll generate age, height, and weight.

Well, if you look at the PDF previews, there's a bare-chested woman in the left-page margin art, which would violate the new "decency standards" (or whatever they're called) in the latest rev of the license. Won't keep me from picking it up, though :)

There's a map? I just bought my copy today, and there's no map in the back. There's not even evidence that a map was there (i.e.; no "glue stains" or anything). I talked with the owner of the FLGS I bought it at, and he said none of the copies he got in have a map in the back. Has this...

I have some treasure generators for 3.0 in the Table Gallery for TableSmith. They don't divide treasure, but they can generate it. I'm in the process of updating them to 3.5.

I haven't used it myself, but AutoREALM is pretty popular. I've got some free downloads on my site, on the Utilities page.

Don't forget MechAssault :) How is "D&D Heroes"? I've been thinking about picking it up; it looks like a D&D-version of Gauntlet, which would be cool (even cooler if, like Gauntlet, all the characters on on-screen at the same time...are they?). BTW, GTA3 and Vice City are finally coming out...

Thanks, Chaz :) In the Table Gallery, there's a pack called "3E Treasure Generator 1.5" that allows you to generate mundane items. It uses the standard treasure generation tables, but gives you the option of allocating some of the coinage to mundane treasure. Note that it needs the magic item...

DicePro, from Rival Game Labs. I'm not big on dice-rolling programs, but this thing is pretty cool. I don't know what your mechanics-requirements are, but it's pretty flexible, and can handle a variety of user-defined criteria. And it's free.

You could still use square tiles, but you'd need to accomodate having pieces that use multiple squares. Cavern pieces could fit into a square/rectangular mold - you would simply have to have "empty space" between the square "edge" and the irregular wall part. I've been toying with the idea of...
