I voted 2 cycles. I am actually more intrigued in cycle number, say, 5 or 6 than 3 , hoping that such numbers will explore new roads and alternate rules for those of us who like the 4E innovation but are bored by it's slow (IMHO) combat mechanics and look for different options in the same menu.

If they put Shadow and Psionic sources in PHB III, I'll be psionically forced to buy it even if the third possible source was Disney. That said, I'd prefer 2 complete sources in separate handbooks, so I'd buy the one I like only. Which is probably why that won't happen.
