How to make a 100th level character and other obsurd junk.

Get Legendary Commander and spend 150,000,000 gold pieces on an army -- the 100M left over should be enough to equip yourself. :D In all serousness: Why?

I gave you a mention on a General thread yesterday, posting a collection of high-level creatures. I thought this might be of interest here: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=140531#post2424339

Who is interested in playing a 100th level adventure anyway.

From the poll it looks like a shocking 60% of EN Worlders would like to try this, at least once.

WotC has several OGL products on the market, not just Unearthed Arcana. The others are from their d20 Modern line, though. They don't have any products following the d20 STL, since they have no need to license their own logo.

    Alternative to turning undead

Ah, I'm sorry -- I missed that. Yes, with these changes to the class it seems fine.

Actually, moving up the deadline wouldn't be a bad thing -- the judges could really use some extra time.

So, how would YOU make a ECL 100 character?

The Dragon Ascendant is a prestige class from Draconomicon that gives, over 12 levels, the quasi-deity template in a manner similar to that of the dragon disciiple.

    Martial artist without monk "spirituality"?

That's all I was referring to.

You would have had to have entered it about 3 months ago to get it into this year's competition. You still have about 9 months for next year's competition.

[d20] What don't you know? (free pdf books)

The shoes are ruby in the movie, but they're silver in the books. That was actually a big change for the symbolism of the story!

The Aragorn Ranger Variant (You'll like! Promise!)

Most people think that clerics are overly powerful, but there's often a party dynamic reason to want at least one, so I have no problm with it. Is the cleric powerful? Yes, but that's by design (and matches my needs) so I think it's fine. If I wanted to play a journey through the wilderness...

What is the gold for a 100th level Epic guy?

    Here's a quick list of the CR 36 to 140 creatures I found, those possibly suitable for 40th or 100th level PCs: CR 37 CR 38 CR 39 (2) CR 41 CR 41 (2) CR 42 CR 43 (3) CR 44 CR 44 CR 45 CR 45 CR 46 (3) CR 47 (2) CR 50 CR 53 (2) CR 54 CR 55 (5) CR 55 CR 55 CR 56 CR 56 (3) CR 58 CR 62 CR 62 (2) CR...

Does "no divine rank" mean my great wyrm gold dragon with dragon ascendant is out?

The Aragorn Ranger Variant (You'll like! Promise!)

It's only a design flaw if ForceUser thinks it's equal in power to the other classes. It's it's more powerful by design, then that's OK (for ForceUser's game, anyway).

    I'd appreciate that.

What is the gold for a 100th level Epic guy?

Well, heck, if you're going to use the "40% increase from 20th level" formula that outstrips the ELH 40th-level wealth by 30th level, you might as well round properly: 372,440,110,252,881,344 Edit: I do still like your idea of dragos as coins, though. :D

What is the gold for a 100th level Epic guy?

It's not a 40% wealth increase by level though -- that would give 635,000,000 gp by level 40, clearly incompatible with the chart in the ELH. I'll note that I don't consider adding, subtracting, multiplying, and rounding down (the only operations needed for my formula) to be "higher math".

What is the gold for a 100th level Epic guy?

I'm using f(n) = 50,000 n ^ 2 - 2,550,000 n + 37,600,000 - 100,000 [[n / 2]] where [[x]] is the greatest integer less than or equal to x. (You can even skip the last term without much effect on the final wealth.) This follows the ELH progression pretty well, as I recall. Edit: I'd love to...

What is the gold for a 100th level Epic guy?

It's about 277 million gp. The ELH follows a fairly flat (quadratic, in this case) wealth progreession in epic levels.

It would be a valid entry, if that's what you're asking. Could it win...? I don't know. Look at the field of nominees this year -- it's not just d20-compatible material, which narrows the chances (if there will only be 2-3 d20-compatible products nominated). Still, I'd certainly enter it...
