Most definitely try out the systems that you always wanted to play, but were never able. Buffy, Feng Shui, Conan, etc. These games make for great one-shots and also serve to introduce players to different types of games outside of d20 (except for Conan that is). Most of all-Have fun! :cool:

Caltros is more thief-like (he's a Thief) and gets beat on in straight hand-to-hand. We have also played Angel and Feng Shui. We've been having a great time. Next time we meet is on the 12th (a Sunday). I'll be in touch... :)

Here's my .02 worth: Drizzt is going to be the hardest to cast. I would like Vin Diesel, but he is probably too big... Obed Fehr is another possibility for Artemis. He was the Magi leader in The Mummy and was the gigolo the Rob Schneider filled in for in Deuce Bigelow...Banderas works too...

We just finisished our first session of Feng Shui and had a blast! We played "Baptism of Fire" from the core book and I was the GM. The party consisted of a Karate Cop (Adrien Chen), a Wandering Monk (Wu Li-played by MEG Hal) and a Transformed Dragon (Tsing Tsao). The 2 players (I had to GMC...

We had one of our funnest sessions in a long time today! I don't think I'll ever forget the image of Shen Kar-Wei being carried out of the building-only to be hit by falling debris and killed just as the building collapsed. Nice try, Wu Li! :(

If anyone is interested, we are gaming this Saturday (the 28th). More than likely, we will be playing Eberron with a slight chance of Conan. Saturdays are pretty much the only day we can play and D&D and its offspring are the games we play. Post here if interested...

My personal favorites: Anything with reach and rend (i.e. Trolls, Dire Apes, etc.). The look on a player's face when they close to attack and then get hit by 2 claws with a rend is...priceless. I've eviscerated a dwarf wizard (don't ask) and a night elf ranger with this combo. The only thing...

Thanks for the vote! We are just getting ready to start an Eberron campaign (along with the Conan) and if anyone is interested, reply here and I'll get in touch. We meet every other Saturday for about 5-7 hours of gaming.

Just played a game of Godstorm yesterday at Fantasy HeroCon IV in Tampa and, while I found the game fun, I don't think I would buy it. There is too much luck involved (like previous posters have said) for my tastes. Although, when I sank Atlantis, that rocked! :]
