The 'Wonderland'-Inspired Faces of the RAGE OF DEMONS

There's a kind of awakened cube in Scott Kurtz's Table Titans comic - http://tabletitans.com/comic/mines-of-madness-page-16

[UPDATED] RAGE OF DEMONS! New D&D Storyline Features Drizzt, Underdark, & Demon Lords!

Actually, I imagine that many buyers are very happy, that the APs are all set in the same world and region. That means that they don't have to learn a completely new pantheon for each AP they play and they can tie them together quite easily, not with the same characters perhaps, but hear rumors...

    D&D 5E (2014) Jury duty still ongoing...

It is interesting to get a bit more information about the American legal system. For comparison jury duty is voluntary here in Denmark and the pay is around $165 (US) per day. I don't believe anyone in my immediate circle of friends and family have ever been on jury duty though.

D&D 5E (2014) Dungeons and Dragons and the RPG Stigma

I had no idea that our hobby was still seen in a bad light. A few months ago I was at a job interview and had no qualms mentioning that I play D&D and I actually used it as an argument for being good at working in groups and having social skills. I got the job, so it didn't seem to have a...

D&D 5E (2014) I believe a slow and light product release can cause more harm in the long run.

Except for the term "a lot", I completely agree with this sentence. In fact several of those people are already critical, angry and a bit selfish. Nevertheless I find the current pace of releases fine.

D&D 5E (2014) Perfect example of the kind of interaction that I wish Wizards had with it's community.

Dude, a few posts ago you accused everyone who disagreed with you of "being a WOTC mouthpiece or blind worshiping". You are welcome to that opinion, just like we have a right to disagree.

    D&D 5E (2014) Would you change a monster's hit points mid-fight?

I am surprised by the opposition to fudging that I see in this thread. I always assume that any DM I play with fudges dice rolls and modify encounters on the fly to make the game more fun/interesting. I sure do so and I am pretty sure my players know this, but if they don't, that doesn't really...

D&D 5E (2014) D&D classic settings or new worlds to explore?

I think they would be crazy to release books for anything other than FR. I don't really see how a campaign guide (or similar) for Spelljammer, Birthright, or even Greyhawk could ever sell enough to make it worth it for WotC. It is much better to use FR as a good base for their APs, a world where...

    D&D 5E (2014) Prepping for Princes

According to Volo's Guide to the North Red Larch has around 600 inhabitants. Westbridge has around 450 (same source). I don't know of any numbers for Beliard.

    D&D 5E (2014) Fantasy-D&D Loot Crate

I was surprised to see that they actually ship to Denmark, which makes it very tempting, but with shipping prices (making it cost $28/month, incl. shipping), and the risk that customs also want a fee, it gets a bit steep.

WotC's Nathan Stewart: "Story, Story, Story"; and IS D&D a Tabletop Game?

Maybe a bit unrelated, but why does WotC get such a hard time from some people for concentrating on one setting, while it doesn't seem to bother the same people, that Paizo only publish one setting?

D&D 5E (2014) Dual wielding and improvised weapons. Technically broken?

Seeing some of the posts here makes me think, that the way I imagine someone using a shield as an improvised weapon differs from how other people see it. When I imagine an attack with a shield, I see the wielder making a wild swing with it, which then makes him wide open for attacks. As someone...

D&D 5E (2014) Dual wielding and improvised weapons. Technically broken?

It is not because it is broken, that I wouldn't allow the AC bonuses to stack, it just doesn't make sense to me, that the shield would work as a defense while being used as a weapon. It is the same with crossbow expert. I don't really care if it is OP to use two hand crossbows and being able to...

D&D 5E (2014) Dual wielding and improvised weapons. Technically broken?

No, I would allow the +1 to AC as per the feat. IMO when using a shield as an improvised weapon, you are using it for something it wasn't really intended for and it shouldn't function as a shield simultaneously. When getting the AC benefit of a second weapon with the Dual Wielder feat, you are...

D&D 5E (2014) D&D 5e is fantastic. Just a topic of appreciation and some forum analysis.

I enjoy 5e immensely. It has brought me back to RPGs after a 15 year break.

[SPOILERS] Mike Schley's PRINCES OF THE APOCALYPSE Maps: Take 2!

Schley uses Photoshop to make his maps, but he has made a symbol set for CC3 (https://secure.profantasy.com/products/ss4.asp#&panel1-1).

    D&D 5E (2014) Subtle and Not-So-Subtle Spellcasting

You could occasionally ask the players to describe/show the verbal and somatic component when they cast a spell. That should remind them, that there are ways for NPCs to see or otherwise notice that a spell is being cast. An added bonus might be, that it makes spell casting a bit more...

    D&D 5E (2014) Would you change a monster's hit points mid-fight?

Oddly enough, while I don't mind fudging rolls and changing monster HP on the fly, I don't think I would ever roll back/retcon an encounter if something unforeseen happened. When the dice have been cast, there is no way back, for good or bad.

    D&D 5E (2014) Would you change a monster's hit points mid-fight?

I fail to see the difference between adding a few hit points to an opponent NPC in trouble or suddenly giving him reinforcements, that weren't planned in advance. To me both would be fine, but neither is more fair or "right" than the other.
