I swore I read this in a WotC book. It was an ability of a class, or possibly a spell that allowed you to swap your place with an ally. I think you could also swap 2 allies places as well. I am thinking it was in the Mini HB? Anyone know what I am talking about?

If you had a poisoned weapon, and stuck someone that had Damage Reduction, I think the poison would apply. I guess it depends on the DMs interpretation. The fact that it says "wounds heal immediately" means that, they DO get wounded when you hit them, it just closes the wound and heals...

No, it specifically says in the Spectral Hand description that you can't flank with it. However, I wonder if you were flanking a creature (not the hand, but the caster), and cast a melee touch spell through the hand, would you then be able to SA with it?

As I stated previously... Flatfootedness is not always limited to the beginning of init. A Balance check, the Grease spell (in conjuction with a Balance check) and the Low-Blow feat (Races of Faerun) all can make an opponent flatfooted...

I would personally say "No" as well. I'd say that only attended objects that you physically carry (or weild, or don) are considered equipment for purposes of invisibility. The Flying Carpet is not an attended object, you aren't wearing it, and you aren't carrying it (it is carrying you)...

What other PrCs, besides Assassin, has a Death Attack ability? Are there any that can be executed at Range, or are they all Melee only?

Actually, there are a couple. I would look up the Low-Blow feat from Races of Faerun. I'd also look under the Balance skill, as well as the Grease spell (as Grease is used to make an opponent do a Balance check).

I don't see it stating that it is an Assassin spell... I guess I need to check the DMG for that?

I would suggest, just apply it to spells with Line effects. Or maybe Rays, but it can only effect one Ray shot per spell. So Scorching Ray would only allow for one of those rays to "chain" off and do half damage to the nearest target(s).

Awesome. That is exactly what I was looking for. Is this spell in the Core? Or is it in a splat book? I looked in the SRD and didn't see it, but I could have simply overlooked it.

I think there is a Psionic Power (Baneful Teleport) that forces a teleport on an opponent... Might want to double check that...

True, but if you care to change it up a bit... You could be a Spell Sword and use Throwing weapons. Channel spells through Daggers (for example) and throw them.
