    DDM per campaign setting

These lists are really cool. I was thinking more in terms of named NPCs but you guys came with really thorough lists.

    DDM per campaign setting

I have notice that a few famous NPCs have appeared in the form of D&D miniatures. I've seen Greyhawk's Lareth the Beautiful, Mordenkainen the Mage, and King Snurre, as well as Ravenloft's Count Strahd Von Zarovich. Is there any catalogue of minis per setting?

    How to un-cheese D&D?

Don't forget to decrease the amount of money in the treasure. I haven't run any 3.x module, but, in the old days, I used to divide all treasure by 10. Works nicely!

    3.5 Without Minis?

Actually it is very simple. The DM states what the opponents are doing and, based in their action and the players response, match them in combat. All tactical movement subtleness is lost, but the speed easily compensates for that. Some tactical options remains as players and opponents usually...

    Roleplaying outside the U.S.

Dungeon & Dragons is the market leader in Brazil by a far margin. However, World of Darkness, despite being definitely second, has a solid share. Everything else, Brazilian created or translated from English, has a tiny slice of the market. GURPS was once strong, as it was the first translated...

    Is print -> digital feasible?

And it costs US$ 20.00 a year. That's great value for your money. Sadly, I don't think Wizards will be satisfied cashing so little for a subscription.

    Giants in the Earth

When I read most of the magazines through the Archives CD, I found Giants in the Earth to be the best series of articles except for the Voyage of the Princess Ark. I wonder if they were paying the original authors for the right of using their characters.

[C&C, AD&D, oD&D] The best of the old stuff...

I used to like sourcebooks and despise adventures. As it usually happens, my tastes have reversed with time. I have little time to read sourcebooks and adventures became handy. I still like to create my own stuff and thus I continually expand published adventures. As such, I am not really the...

Green Ronin to produce a new Song of Ice and Fire RPG

They have a license from George Martin but I guess they don't have the rights from Guardians of Order work. As such, they will likely try to differentiate from the earlier products to avoid any involuntary plagiarism. Still, I'm surprised they will not use True 20 or a different OGL variant.

Will the Magic System be shown the door?

Although I cannot say for your particular case, many posters tend to view opinion polls in boards such as EN World as representative of the opinion of gamers in general. This is a fallacy. Wizards' survey, despite being old, is probably their best map of the true preferencies among their...

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder v Digital Initiative

I marked the might subscribe both option as I am open to any possibility. However, right now, it is unlikely I would subscribe to any of them.

    PSP vs NDS

I brought a PSP about a month ago and I deeply regret it. The machine is just fantastic but it is very bulky to a portable console. It doesn't fit in my pocket and I found the battery to be a little bit shorter than what I expected. I have no experience with the NDS, but it seems now it would be...

D&D 4E What Star Wars Saga E. features would you like to see incorporated in 4E D&D and why?

I liked most of the novelties, especially the new skill rules. I also liked the combat, although I don't dig the triple initial hit points and I would adjust the game so that armour became more relevant.

    What Will Happen to Greyhawk?

I agree with all your statements, but more with the first. However, if Expedition of Castle Greyhawk becomes a bestseller, perhaps Wizards will release a few additional adventures.

    Running a Greyhawk campaign

Ivid the Undying is really fantastic. However, instead of downloading the Wizards' file, get this nicely edited and formated pdf version by William Allman, available at the Acaeum.

Has anyone played the Wheel of Time

I played for about an year and I enjoyed it greatly. However, our DM housed ruled the inclusion of a seventh ability, Power, to take care of One Power manipulation and saves (any weave against a person would be resist with the Power stat bonus, instead of the appropriated Con, Wis, or Dex...

The Lords of the Nine Hells

It was the best 2ed AD&D book I read -- not that I read many, I am afraid. I think your myth of origin for Asmodeus and the Nine Hells are definitely the most interesting I read. It is really a shame it has not being supported by further releases.

What didn't people like about Greyhawk From the Ashes?

From the Ashes is a great product, as many of the post-Gygaxian Greyhawk supplements (but not many adventures). However, I prefer the original box. I would love to read a complete setting developed by Carls Sargent focusing in a dark high-fantasy mood. Still, borrowing from Conan fans, From the...

Revised Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth Coming Soon...

Only three: Tomb of Horrors, White Plume Mountain, and Temple of Frog. All classic, but none of the better ones, IMHO.
