  1. Bison

Which race WILL you be playing?

first time out in any game, I always lead off with Dwarven Fighter. A cliche sure, but at least I get to practice my scottish accent :D
  2. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle looks over his shoulder back at the zombie horde. "see, I told you those filthy zombies were slow. If they haven't caught up to us by now, I like our chances to make the monestary"
  3. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

OOC - thanks, think I know what level 3 will be then :)
  4. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

OOC - since we are in a bit of a lul here, wanted to ask a quick OOC question. Does anyone know if all the racial paragon classes are approved on LEW. I saw explicitly that the drow paragon is on the list, and general information about paragon classes, but I didnt see dwarf paragon listed...
  5. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle will move with the slow group towards the monestary
  6. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

"I have heard that zombies like to eat brains, perhaps we just aren't all that appealing to them?"
  7. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle looks at his cousin and lets out a sigh and looks at the invading host. "willing has nothing to do with it cousin, since it seems it is no longer your choice"
  8. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

OOC - well if they are between the party and the temple, then running for it isnt an option. second, I was under the impression that the monestary is within visual distance now. Unless the monestary is almost impossibly big and tall (like a modern skyscraper) Droggle should be able to run the...
  9. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle looks to the monestary. "well, I say we stop debating and get moving, I just hope the monestary will provide some shelter from these abominations" (Now this may be meta-gaming, and Droggle certainly wouldnt know this, but I was under the impression that zombies can not move at double...
  10. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle looks back at the enemy, knowing he can not out run them. "perhaps we could evade them long enough to get away, then continue on to the monestary"
  11. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

OOC - the clerics can still use scrolls and wands though right? or is all divine magic cut off?
  12. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

sounds good to me, thanks :)
  13. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

OOC would it be too much of a pain if I edited Droggle to level 2 now to submit to character judges and just remember the HP, feat, and saves he doesnt have til he rests, or would it be best to just wait? (its a kinda slow day at work here today :p )
  14. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

"Droggle looks over his comrades after the tough fight. I think we should move as far from this place as we can before resting. so perhaps if that other creature returns, he wont be able to find us. If we can get rested up and healed, we can make a final push for this monestary tomorrow."
  15. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

OOC so once we rest, we can take the level, even before it is approved by the LEW judges?
  16. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle lets out a mighty war cry and buries his pick deep in the chest of the fiend hitting on a nat 20 for 9 damage (could have been 36 damage stupid undead being immune to my x4 crit multiplier  )
  17. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

ahh ok, well then Droggle didnt move, but hmm, even with him prone, and all, I think that attack still missed him
  18. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle grins seeing the abomonation go down, and he turns to the other undead, he knows he needs to press the attack before the magic of his weapon begins to face. he yells out to his comrades as he moves to the other enemy "Try to pry Valen out of the ground, I will see if I can hold the...
  19. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle is getting tired now, having been furiously attacking this monstrosity for some time now, but he summons up some of that legendary dwarven stamina and levels another devestating attack on the beast. hits AC 20 for 7 damage
  20. Bison

    Nocturne of Sorrow, Orsal J

Droggle seems to be tiring a bit now and misses the undead monstrocity hit AC 9
