After years of playing pathfinder we recently changed to 5e because the classes are more balanced. I started to poke my mates to do this after someone created a character who was able to do 49 damage on level 2 (or 3). So definitely 5e maybe with the official pathfinder (Inner sea?) setting...

A tail is fine in the summer but if you don't have fur on it, it will get quite cold. Especially if you have a hole in your trousers where it comes out. You should consider keeping it warm.

I thought with 5e Anauroch is a desert again so the terraforming devices of the Shades have failed utterly. I was thinking something along the lines of dealing with Bedine or Zhentarim who are (have been?) inhabiting the region. Sandstorms and such could be but after a few it could get really old.

Funny you say that. In one of my previous games the party was after a cult fanatic on a lake. Everyone was rowing. The fanatic stopped rowing for a round and cast command:"Swim!" on the cleric with heavy armor. She failed her saving throw and the party had to decide whether to help the drowning...

Changing patrons seems like a great plot hook to start a new campaign. Would definitely use it. Rules/Sub-class wise nothing would have to change (unless the player wanted to).

*GASP* Why WOULDN'T you be interested in a part of the world which is policed by high/epic level adventurers who deal with all plots in the region so the actual PCs will only be cleaning up the mess they are doing? :O
