Well, they had it coming. And problem's solved anyway, so I don't need Unearthed Arcana anymore. Slaughter Paladin (or whatever) sounded good, but that's not worth it by itself.

IMO, the standard PHB is better. I like the fact that it's not only b/w, also. *rolls eyes*

This is a character I made for a another D&D board. It uses that board's formatting. He gained +2 cha from drawing off that board's version of the Deck of Many Things :)

I just don't think it's worth all the extra effort. What do you get? Not much. Realism doesn't take a huge bump or anything.
Which brings up another thing I wanted to say: To each his own. This philosophy is quite handy, and applies to much of what has been said in this topic.
