    [GenCon] Got your badge yet?

Got mine :) As for generic tickets, it's quite simple. There is a booth to buy them at, then you just take your schedule of events you want to try to get into and show up. If there is room, the one running the event with take your generic tickets instead. If not, you are SOL =/. You can...

    Hello D&D playes Wanted!!!

There appears to be an error with the board you are trying to visit. That's all I get trying to go there.

    What are Drow, anyway?

I've moved on to Phase 4 - I got over the earlier 'coolness' and use them just like any other race now. They are once again to be feared while in the underdark...

    How cool is 3.5e grappling

That's not too hard for me to imagine. At this point, the gnome would just be squirming between them, rather than brute force dragging them.

    I'd never thought I'd miss...

A couple of months ago, I decided to convert my DM style to an electronic one. I am a Network Administrator by trade (that's right, one of those guys with all the goofy letters after my name in emails that 'arbitrarily' turns off servers for no reason while you all are trying to work :)). I'm...

Point-buy or rolling? Your preference and why?

We do it with dice. I love the random aspect of it. Sometimes we'll do 3d6 straight up, let the dice(and abilities - no moving scores around) fall where they may. I personally have played pretty much everything, so I'm just as happy designing a character based on my roles. Can really make...

    Evil Sony!

Fairly sleepless, yes. And it worked. I reactivated my account, but not sure for how long; we'll see. Hopefully I can succeed at just playing 'casually'. *crosses fingers*

    Role-playing a Bards musical talents

I'll throw my vote into the rediculous category. Although, my group did, at one time, have a bard who liked to write songs for his character. But it was never required, he just liked to sing.

    Evil Sony!

That evil company is trying to suck me back in to Everquest! Argh. They have reactivated my account for free for 7 days, it seems like such a shame to waste it... Everquest takes sooo much time though *sigh* /rant over

    What would magic do?

Now THAT could make for an interesting adventure. Just think, the local lord sends the PCs to find out about this 'miracle' if it could be said as such. What others will come, good and evil, to find out the secrets? Maybe the churches get jealous, and try to develop thier own powers...

Need help! How would YOU find an invisible tower?

I was going to post: Go to the very center of the wasteland and build a temple of goodness, and they will come to you. Before I remembered your time limit problem, but it still bears mentioning. :D

A game world without dwarves, elves, etc.?

I've never been fond of campaigns without the typical races either. In our current campaign we changed some things around though, the elves are gypsies (nothing to do with trees really), the dwarves live in city-states, things like that. A world with only humans just sounds so...bland.
