Anyone know a good SciFi game?

Do a search for Alien Fuzion. Some guy wrote TWO HUGE sourcebooks on using the Fuzion system to play in the Aliens/Predetor universe. I downloaded both (they're in PDF and Word format) and have got to say, the dephth of the background material was immense. They would work really well as simple...

    WOTC sold?

In that case, Long Live D20, viva OGL! I'm not the greatest fan of DnD as it is. I've only got the books so I can use OTHER d20 games and settings.

    WOTC sold?

Is'nt there already a d20 W40k in the works? Its by some French company. I could've sworn there was a news article on enworld some months back about it.

    Natural disaster adventures?

No, they ran along with the rest of the refugees. Contrary to hollywood propaganda, nothing short of a God can stop a volcanic eruption. Most of the next few modules were spent dealing with the immediate aftermath of the eruption. Including the revolution that was triggered by rebels taking...

    50 reasons LOTR sucks

My favourite (so far) was: 22 Go-Go Gadget Arrow Sprouter. Legolas shoots arrow after arrow at his enemies, and yet the number of arrows in his quiver never decreases. I guess elves have glands on their back that secrete arrows.

    Natural disaster adventures?

I once had a volcano erupt in a campaign I was running. I had been building up to the cataclysm for over a month using the usual signs, gas vents re-opening, earth tremours, landslides, lakes boiling and animal acting unusual. I even had signs showing up in divination. PC: I use my Danger Sense...

    Players that don't keep track

Last night, I ran a Dragonstar game. I was keeping track of the number of Tanarukk pirates the PC's had dispatched when I overhead the players talking IC that "that was the 7th one". I realised at that point the combat wombat was keeping tally "for XP purposes".

[OT] Attorneys on the EnWorld boards

Oohhh, BADD would hate this. All those poor "innocent" children corrupted by the evil of Dungeons and Dragons now working in the criminal justice system! :D

    Getting MM2 in the UK

Are you sure, leisure games sends me an email every week about the new releases they get in. And their catalogue (the online ordering one) seems upto date with what they have and haven't got in stock.

    Getting MM2 in the UK

I can also reccomend leisure games. I have ordered several items of them and have had nothing but excellent service from them. They even pulled an order from the delivery bag when I rang up and asked them to after finding out that I could'nt actually afford the book and pay for food.

I need some one liners that a priest would say.

Ok, I'm probably going to get crucified for this but... ;) "As a duly designated representative of his lord Jesus Christ, I hereby order you to cease and desist any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith from your home plane, or nearest convientent hellish dimension." DM's almost...

    Modern-day game settings and 9/11

The most often reason for our games to visit the land down under is well, the same reason that American TV shows and movies vists Europe. AUS/NZ is very distant and although on the surface it appears familer. Underneath both its culture and soceity seem different. Also, theres the sun and palm...

    Modern-day game settings and 9/11

Its just occured to me, both versions of Call of Cuthulu (Chaosium and d20) mention it and Unknown Armies second edition mentions it several times.

    Modern-day game settings and 9/11

Unfortunatly our groups favourite genre for RP'ing is the present day. I feel that ignoring it or pretending it did'nt happen would be disrepectful. We do'nt go out of our way to mention it as most of our games are set withing the EU and Austrialia/New Zealand (have a soft spot for the ozzies...

    Modern-day game settings and 9/11

Especially since after looking through the book in our local "catalogue" store (expensive book store, we buy from the cheap store that shrink wraps RPG books) I can say that without a doubt Afganistan d20 is one of the biggest piles of steaming donkey dodo I have even seen.
