This spell is nothing like scorching ray or manyshot. This spell is not a ray. It is not firing more than one arrow. Its one blade flying to strike everyone along the line.

Yea. In 3.5, magic doesnt trump everything else. if they have dr 10/silver and magic, it has to be magic AND silver to get through. if its 5/good and cold iron, it has to be good and cold iron to get through. theres no more 10/+1, 10/+2, etc.

I would say go with some Swashbuckler levels....built for tumble, etc. ;)

I will expand on this. Do not lead the DM into temptation. He can find it anyway. I have a red shirt with the "Do not lead me into temptation. I can find it myself" on it with a evil looking smiley on it. I wear it to about 1/3 of my D&D games when I DM....the only 2 are either my pirate...

Weapon finesse would be a very useful one. Especially if you can get 2 gloves of storing....keep a bow in one and a rapier in the other. its a free action to store or retrieve an item....so if you get caught in melee, simply store the bow and draw the rapier as 2 free actions.

Yes....but give your fighter a ring of spell storing...cast the spell in it.....he throws his greatsword while using the ring....;)

Do your enemies tend to use cover? Sharp-shooting from Complete Warrior removes some of their AC bonus due to cover. Or try Coordinated Shot from Heroes of Battle. Or Ready shot from the same book. If you have 5 ranks in hide, Able Sniper from Races of the Wild might be a good idea...or...

No problem. :) Its a very useful and not often noticed rule....especially if your DM is strict about when you pray. ;)
