Telepathy is a supernatural ability that also a lot of monsters have (e.g. Baatezu). All creatures having Telepathy, 100' should by able to use it in a unique way. So the answer to the question posed is not only interesting for the Mindbender.
I think that somewhere it is said that Telepathy...
The character I have played so far/I am playing currently have been/are two humans, one sun-elf and one drow.
Therefore, humans, elves, and drow got my vote.
The best of these three races? I would say human. Their versatility...
I am currently running a multi-classes PC. She is a Telepath 9/Paladin 1.
1.) It is fun to play her.
2.) Her feat "Psychic Inquisitor" to detect lies is of great value for a paladin.
3.) The diplomacy skill stacks.
4.) Mindblast can end combat non-violently.
What I want to say that it mixing a...
The high market prices of the manuals are due to the XP cost occuring due to the wish spells which are needed when creating the manuals.
But the scroll of wish with which the upgrade should be done has also a 5000 XP cost inherent.
Therefore, I do not think that one has to judge the way...
I have voted for the Psion! I do like the idea of characters with very specialised supernatural powers.
It seems to me more natural and from a roleplaying point of view more interesting than a sorcerer who can cast spells from this school, from that school and from...
My favorate Psion is a...
Of course, it is a very demanding taks for one person to judge all the prestige classes or even WotC's ones.
On the other hand, it should be possible to have a compiled list of all prestige classes at one site where the visitors themselves can vote for these classes and write their remarks.
In...
Wow! A quick reply and thank you very much for starting these reviews quite now!
Maybe, such reviews will once be part of EN World...
As a reviewer, I would also include a NPC---PC scale on which the Prestige Classes are measured. That's just because there are some very cool classes which...
Can anyone tell me if there is a website/a document/etc. where the various D&D-prestige classes are reviewed (e.g. with respect to power balance or playability)?
A lot of monster have spell-like abilities that they cast at a n-th level sorcerer. Their DCs (10 + spell level + Cha mod) won't increase with HD advancement.
Every time Zozo gains a level she has to decide to which spell casting class she possessed before entering the prestige class she adds the +1 spell progression.
Does anyone know the ECL adjustment for the Psionic Template (PsiHB, p. 139)?
By the way, if understand the description of the template correctly, a 8 HD monster can have a 9th-level power??? Am I right with it?
In one campain I am playing a 9th-level Telepath/1st-level Paladin. In combat against non-humanoids (where a lot of mind-effecting powers don't work) Mind Blast is often the attack ability the character has. Limiting this attack mode would severely hurt the character. Furthermore, against some...
I would propose the following:
Make up the price of an item that would grant the feat that is wished for.
If the gold price of the item is less than 15.000 gp wishing for that feat is probably okay, if the gold price is greater than 15.000 gp, it is certainly not.
