    I like concussive blast alot (say, recharge 5-6 and ALOT if damage), also other two suggestions are good. Having spells cast as 5th lvl is fine too

    a swarm of little nymphs sounds cool. I'd ditch the DEX save proficiency and give it a lower dex.

    Re blood - good question. Am tempted to make it any blood as it's amorphous (and makes a contrast to the vampire for instance) description looks good though seeing "undead" used as a noun in this way (not as collective noun) I find a little grating for some reason...I'd use it as an adjective...
