    DnD Shorts final video

O rly? - $30 subscription fees is definitely in the realm of possibility. Wotc can flat deny it all they want, but we have past experience with WotC saying one thing and doing another, and it's definitely the sort of brain-dead thing someone who won't bother to interact with the community...

    DnD Shorts final video

He was wrong once. And not even completely wrong, just wrong because his information came from someone with a skewed perspective of the internal situation. Or are you talking about his prior content, which is just harmless white-room theorycrafting?

    DnD Shorts final video

Perhaps because there are multiple sources quoted, along with the verifiable information of our own two eyes with regards to what WotC has done over the last few years? Why? Do YOU have any contrary sources? Or are you just here to bash on DnD Shorts again?

    DnD Shorts final video

Oh, god, Gleemax. I forgot all about that! Did that actually do any damage? I always just saw it as kind of a joke that fell apart. I didn't HATE it the way I do this.

I've been using the #FireChrisCao hashtag on twitter. I wonder what it would take to make him Twitter's main character for a day.

Why We Should Work With WotC

This sounds like one of those terrible sit-com plans that inevitably blows up in the face of all involved.

is someone willing to screenshot the questions so we can all rip them a new bunghole discuss them and provide critique?

D&D General Linda Codega Interviews Critical Roles Marisha Ray and Matthew Mercer

I hope so. They sort of swallowed WotC's lines about the 1.2 without the in-depth ripping apart to uncover the truely insidious stuff, and I think that's been harmful to the pushback.

Why We Should Work With WotC

Psychological abuse is still abuse. Psychic damage is just as lethal as any other type of damage.

WotC's growing pattern of broken promises

Sure, but is Hasbro's stock collapse a result of all this deal-breaking cash-grabby behavior? Or the cause of it? I want to get at the root of that, because this has been going on a few years now, since before Covid. I have to wonder if it's fallout from the Toys-R-Us bankruptcy, and Hasbro...

WotC's growing pattern of broken promises

It's not, though. Just because the player base WANTED that change, by and large, doesn't mean it doesn't fit the pattern. Especially since that breakage was limited and predatory, instead of what people ACTUALLY wanted it to be (printing actual, playable versions of at least the dual lands in a...

WotC's growing pattern of broken promises

Oh, you get argument from me on that, but some people DO care. A lot. And the fact that they ONLY produced it to harpoon whales is rage-inducing for their entire base. I'm just pointing out a pattern of behavior here.

    Legal Discussion of OGL 1.2

I noticed that. And no one else I've seen has talked about it...probably because it's tacked on to a regular ol' Severence clause. This is there to fool lawyers.

WotC's growing pattern of broken promises

I saw this thread on Twitter, and it made me think. What the heck is going on here? WotC also recently broke the spirit of the Reserved List in Magic: The Gathering with their predatory 30th Anniversary Collectors Edition fiasco. Does anyone have any speculation on why WotC's gone so...

I think I know how the morality clause acceptable(+)

Should still be pulled. This is not supposed to be a WotC Content license, it's supposed to replace an Open Game license. As in games that have little or nothing to do with Wizards' product identity. And that's the giant problem with this in the first place. WotC sees all the hobby as...

The new OGL 1.2, What is Victory?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've been seeing this mentioned in some form or another for the last few weeks. But I think they miscalculated how willing to fight the people they slammed are the first time around, since they tried to get 3pps to sign on to a "sweetheart deal" on the OGL 1.1. Someone kept...
