Pathfinder 2E I think I am giving up on PF2ER

That is actually a really great idea! If I still played PF2 I would steal that house rule.

Pathfinder 2E Never give up on PF2

In 5e I can: Move - attack - move - bonus action, and still use shield. In PF2 that would be 5 actions. Movement is so much more flexible in 5e.

Pathfinder 2E I think I am giving up on PF2ER

Kind of strange that PF1 CRB is at spot 38 in Top 100 Pathfinder books: https://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/books/7586186011/ref=pd_zg_hrsr_books

    D&D General Gen X D&D

I absolutely love this 💯. And I absolutely love my generation. For me it’s somewhere between AD&D 2e and Vampire. I don’t think I understood most of it. But we didn’t care and just had fun while our parents were smoking cigarettes and watching MASH reruns. I loved that time - obviously...

D&D General GenCon TV: Celebrating D&D

God damn. I was looking forward to this so much. Last week both Monte Cook and Jonathan Tweet had so much interesting to say about 3e so I hoped Andy and Rob had the opportunity as well. I mean that’s why I tuned in.

    AD&D 2E On AD&D 2E

Totally. I think they will appreciate that actually.

    AD&D 2E On AD&D 2E

Yeah I think they will like the magic items. They seem more cool and special in some way.

    AD&D 2E On AD&D 2E

I would love DMing a 2e campaign for my PF1 group, but I fear they will miss all the level up stuff. Although 2e has proficiencies there are far less customization.

WotC WotC can, and probably should support multiple editions of D&D.

Exactly. Also if you're using Fantasy Grounds, there's a ton of material on there as well: D&D Classics

    Oh nice. I missed that!

SmiteWorks Hires D&D Beyond Founder as Chief Development Officer of Fantasy Grounds

FG has one thing none of the other VTT doesn’t. License to sell D&D Classic/AD&D products. Which is amazing. I would love for them to sell 3.5 and even 4e but I guess WotC isn’t interested in that. Too close to 5e perhaps.

    13th Age 2E update!

I don’t know. I mean I get what you’re saying, but I can’t see how that has anything to do with the quality of the product. I don’t buy my RPG products based on how much YouTube interviews the designer has done. But yeah I mean doing PR is probably important.

D&D General GenCon TV: Celebrating D&D

So, I don't think there has been a mention of this here. But GenCon TV are in the middle of their six episode celebration of D&D. In each episode Peter Adkison has the designers of the various editions in the studio talking about that edition, and then they do a one-shot in that version. So far...

    13th Age 2E update!

Not really sure why you don't think they aren't exited about it. Also Rob has done many interviews: 13th Age Interview List, Annotated, with a Bit of 4E

D&D 3.x 3rd Edition Revisited - Better play with the power of hindsight?

I GM PF1 at the moment. In this regard I'm kind in the camp of a little of column A and a little of column B. The martial-caster divide still exist in PF (IMO). Also the archetypes makes it pretty front-loaded. Further their class design too often revolves around complex subsystems where I have...

D&D 3.x 3rd Edition Revisited - Better play with the power of hindsight?

Yeah, that would be pretty awesome. It would be nice having to look forward to a major decision point.

When putting out such a rude statement, perhaps qualify it.

A few things I really like about WFRP

Guys! Thanks for all that info. It is extremely interesting reading about your experiences. Thanks! I think I will give it a try when our current campaign wraps up.

A few things I really like about WFRP

I also now that the Advantages-rules got a big improvement in Arms of Fire. And also that the magic book (Winds of Magic?) improved spells/magic. So I get a feeling they are kind of needed? And also - how action-packed are the Ubersreik adventures? My 5e group like a ration of 30% non-action and...

A few things I really like about WFRP

How is it compared to 5e? I would like to try it, but I'm afraid my players wouldn't like it that much, since they adore the high octane D&D combats, and crazy ass player high-magic abilities.
